Charlize Theron stuns in TINY black chainmail dress and matching leather gloves for guest judge appearance on RuPaul’s Drag Race premiere: ‘It’s a dream come Ru!’
The Oscar winner — who recently opened up about the murder of her father in a rare interview — took to her Instagram on Friday to share a few behind-the-scenes photos from the reality competition episode, which debuted the same night.
In one snap, she leans back in a chair with an intense gaze while rocking a chainmail dress with a partial bodysuit underneath.
Another photo features the Mad Max: Fury Road alum looking fierce in the same outfit as she stood next to RuPaul on the stage of the show.
‘It’s a dream come Ru!’ she quipped it in the caption. ‘I’m guest-judging the premiere of #DragRace TONIGHT at 8p on @mtv #queensonly.’

The new season of RuPaul‘s Drag Race has set up an all-star lineup to guest judge Season 16, including Charlize, Becky G and Buffy, the Vampire Slayer alum Sarah Michelle Gellar.
Other guest judges that will appear during the season include Kaia Gerber, Kelsea Ballerini, Kyra Sedgwick, Law Roach, Mayan Lopez and Ronan Farrow.
RuPaul’s Drag Race features mainstay judges Michelle Visage, Carson Kressley, Ross Mathews and Ts Madison for the 16th season.
Fourteen contestants will compete for the title of ‘America’s Next Drag Superstar’ and a cash prize of $200k.
The guest appearance was certainly welcomed by Charlize, as it comes a few weeks after she opened up about a trauma in her childhood.
Charlize covered the Town & Country’s November 2023 Tenth Annual Philanthropy issue and reflected on the terrifying night her mother shot her drunk gun-wielding father dead in front of her.
When questioned about whether the distressing moment had inspired her dedication to combating violence against women. she replied, ‘I would say this: It’s a simple correlation to make.
‘But I think it’s way more complicated than having just one night of trauma in your life.

‘With or without that, gender-based violence is so in your face in South Africa and globally. It’s hard to not be aware of these things just purely by being a woman.’
Following an investigation, the 1991 shooting was legally determined to be an act of self-defense, and her mother did not incur any charges.
She also reflected on growing up in South Africa during the apartheid era and the profound impact of AIDS on the community.
‘I was around 10 years old, and people around me were dying and scared. We now know that it was HIV and AIDS, but not a lot of people had that information then.
‘It left an impression on me from a young age that has always been hard to shake.’

‘Growing up in a country under apartheid and having AIDS come. Those things really, really marked me – I almost want to say more than just that one night in my life.’
Charlize has previously discussed the distressing incident when her father was shot before her eyes during a 2019 NPR interview.
‘My father was so drunk that he shouldn’t have been able to walk when he came into the house with a gun,’ she recalled.
‘My mom and I were in my bedroom leaning against the door because he was trying to push through the door.

She continued: So both of us were leaning against the door from the inside to have him not be able to push through. He took a step back and just shot through the door three times.
‘None of the bullets ever hit us, which is just a miracle,’ Charlize added, before adding that her mother shot her father.
‘But in self-defense, she ended the threat’.
