From the outside looking in, it seems that movie stars like Charlize Theron have it easy in just about every way. After all, she is such an incredibly talented actor that fans contend that Theron is the only actor who could play some of her most famous roles. On top of that, she is so gorgeous that Theron has made a fortune as Dior’s longtime spokesperson.

While there is no doubt that Charlize Theron has led a charmed life, that doesn’t mean that everything has worked out perfectly for her. After all, a lot has been made of the fact that Theron and Tom Hardy didn’t get along when they made Mad Max: Fury Road together. On top of that, Theron once described the time she went out on one of the worst dates of all time.

Ever since the tabloids became a major force in the publishing industry, the general public has learned a lot about the dating lives of most celebrities. For example, the Kardashian/Jenner sisters’ most notable relationships have been exhaustively covered by the media. On the other hand, Charlize Theron has mostly been able to keep her personal life out of the headlines, especially when it comes to her dating exploits.

Even though the world hasn’t learned much about Charlize Theron’s dating life in the last several years, some of her past relationships have been revealed by the press. On top of that, there have been a lot of unconfirmed rumors about some of the male celebrities that Theron has supposedly gotten involved with over the years.

During Charlize Theron’s time in the public eye, it has seemingly been confirmed that she dated five different fellows. Three of those men aren’t household names since a lot of people have no idea who Stephan Jenkins, Craig Bierko, and Stuart Townsend are. On the other end of the spectrum, Theron has been linked to a pair of massive stars. First off, throughout part of 2009 and 2010, Theron reportedly was dating Keanu Reeves. It also is known that Theron dated Sean Penn from 2013 until 2015 since the former couple was red carpet official.

In terms of the men that Charlize Theron has been rumored to be dating, that list reads like a who’s who of Hollywood. For example, Theron was rumored to be dating a future Avenger in 2010 since she supposedly was linked to Jeremy Renner at that time. If the rumors are true, Theron has also dated a pair of notable TV stars over the years, Alexander Skarsgård and Eric Stonestreet. Most notably, there have been rumors that Theron was romantically linked to some of the biggest movie stars of the modern era. After all, it has been rumored that Theron dated George Clooney, Ryan Reynolds, and Brad Pitt.

An All-Around Awful Date

In recent years, Charlize Theron has made it no secret that she is a huge fan of The Bachelor. As a result, when Theron went on Jimmy Kimmel Live in 2020, it was only a matter of time before her dating life would be brought up. After all, any Jimmy Kimmel Live fan should know that the show’s host is interested in dating gossip since he breaks down each episode of The Bachelor on his show.

While talking about her romantic life during the aforementioned 2020 Jimmy Kimmel Live appearance, Charlize Theron revealed that she once went on an incredibly bad date. As Theron quickly made clear, at first she thought the date was going great. “I went on a date in my 20s with this guy who was really, super handsome. I was really into it. And he picked me up for dinner, we went and had dinner. It was lovely. I was like, ‘This is going really well.’”

Unfortunately, after Charlize Theron’s date drove her home, things took a turn for the incredibly weird. “And he drove me home, and you know, I kind of signaled that I was in for a kiss. He pulled over by my house,” she continued. “And we started kissing and it was really good. And then, he pulled away and whispered, ‘Make out with my nose.'”

If you are hoping that Charlize Theron quickly exited the vehicle without giving in to her date’s request, she revealed that isn’t what happened. “He was, like, really into it. And I started giggling, ’cause it was good! So, I didn’t want to mess it up, so I gave him a little peck on the nose and he was like, ‘No, make out with it.'” After Theron was done telling her story, Jimmy Kimmel quipped “The bachelorette gets a rose, you got a nose”.
