Taylor Swift’s fans, known as Swifties, express strong dissatisfaction over old tweets from her current boyfriend, Travis Kelce, which resurfaced and are deemed misogynistic and un-PC.

Kelce’s tweets

The newly discovered tweets from 2010 and 2011 have drawn criticism. Some argue that the tweets, made when Kelce was around 21, should be dismissed as youthful mistakes given the different social climate at the time.

“As a man, you have something wrong with you if your [sic] going for girls that weigh more then [sic] you,” Kelce wrote in one tweet.

Another one from May 12, 2010 read: “Haha I just caught myself judging every person that walked past me, whether they were ugly, fat, funny looking, sexy haha I’m trippin.”

Others demand accountability. The offensive tweets, including remarks about women’s weight and derogatory comments about cheerleaders, have been deleted, but remain visible on Google search.
