These five actors have rejected the honorary invite to have Hollywood Walk of Fame stars.

The Hollywood Walk of Fame has been honoring celebrities for decades now. The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has recently awarded The Iron Claw star Zac Efron with the honorary award and a few other celebrities also received the honor this year.

However, the Hollywood sidewalk honor is not digestible for many elite celebrities and it’s surprising that these actors have been the industry’s most sought-after personalities without the stars.

Some are not selected while some actors have rejected the honor for different reasons. Here is a list of 5 actors who rejected the Hollywood Walk of Fame star.

5. Leonardo DiCaprio

Leonardo DiCaprio has been one of the most sought-after actors in Hollywood with a majority of successful titles to his name.

The Titanic star, however, doesn’t have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Reportedly, the Oscar winner has declined the star after being selected.

The reports also stated that DiCaprio rejected the award because of the process involved as he was reluctant to show in public to unveil it, also, the actor was not in line to pay the process and maintenance fee.

4. Julia Roberts

Julia Roberts has been one of the most prominent female leads in several movies as she has maintained her prowess as an actor in the industry for more than a decade.

The actor won an Oscar for her performance in Erin Brockovich after being nominated four times.

However, the actor doesn’t have a Walk of Fame simply because she has rejected it as the actor doesn’t like people stepping on her name.

3. Angelina Jolie

Angelina Jolie was reportedly selected for the honor, however, the Eternals actor was not in favor of accepting it. The actor has been busy with her work and family for which she had to give up the star on the Walk of Fame.

For many, it is shocking to discover that Jolie, who has been one of the greatest stars of all time, doesn’t have an honorary star on Hollywood Boulevard.

2. Brad Pitt

Jolie’s former spouse Brad Pitt also lacks a star on the Walk of Fame. Pitt needs no introduction, he has been a global star for over a decade with several popular and acclaimed titles to his name.

Julia Robert’s Ocean’s Eleven co-star reportedly has no interest in installing his name as he finds a lack of intrinsic value in the process and an unnecessary fee structure.

It is even more shocking to see Pitt’s Ocean’s Eleven co-star George Clooney without a Walk of Fame star.

Clooney has been one of Hollywood’s biggest stars currently working in the industry yet fans will not see the star in his name on Hollywood Boulevard. Reportedly, the actor has declined the award after being selected.

However, he never went on record to comment on his rejection of the star.

Several other prominent celebrities including Christopher Walken, Ben Affleck, legendary actor/director Clint Eastwood, and Jim Carrey have missed out on having a star on the Walk of Fame.

Oscar winner Denzel Washington is another prominent celebrity who doesn’t care about it. The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has installed more than 2,765 stars as of yet.
