Certain fans are convinced that 20-year-old Jenna Ortega is in a romantic relationship with 60-year-old Johnny Depp. The rapid spread of this “news” prompted both actors to respond to the speculation.

They were “spotted together”.

It all kicked off with a rumor that began circulating when a gossip account erroneously asserted that Depp and Ortega had been spotted together.

This “news” rapidly gained traction on the internet, leading to a frenzy of speculation.

Some individuals were firmly convinced they were romantically involved, while others conjectured that Depp might be collaborating with Jenna on Beetlejuice 2.

The actress wasted no time in dispelling any misconceptions about her alleged relationship with the Pirates of the Caribbean actor.

She took to her Instagram story and expressed, “This is so ridiculous I can’t even laugh. I have never met or worked with Johnny Depp in my life. Please stop spreading lies and leave us alone.”

Johnny also took a stand on the matter.

Depp’s spokesperson promptly intervened to provide a clear explanation. Their statement left no room for uncertainty: “Mr. Depp has no personal or professional relationship with Ms. Ortega whatsoever.

He has never met her or spoken to her. He is not involved in any project with her, nor does he intend to be. He is appalled by these baseless and malicious rumors that are intended to harm his reputation and career.”

They both have collaborated with Tim Burton.

Jenna and Johnny indeed share a common professional connection with Tim Burton, which undoubtedly contributed to some of the rumors. Depp has long been regarded as Burton’s favored leading actor for many years.

In contrast, Ortega is a relative newcomer to Burton’s cinematic universe, having recently portrayed Wednesday Addams in Netflix’s series Wednesday. Furthermore, Ortega is set to join the cast of the much-anticipated Beetlejuice 2.
