Is Jay-Z Druging Beyoncé? Bodyguard Allegations Explained

Earlier this year a man claiming to be one of Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s former bodyguards accused Jay-Z of keeping Beyoncé drugged. The man, who goes by the name Uncle Ron also claimed Jay is obsessed with controlling the former Destiny’s Child leader and that their marriage was solely a business transaction.

While he didn’t offer much proof to back up his claims beisdes mere words, he isn’t the only person to make the allegations. A woman also laid similar claims about Jay and Bey’s relationship.

Days after Ron’s comments on TikTok went viral, culture commentator Jaguar Wright summoned the courage to call Jay-Z a “monster” who keeps Beyoncé drugged to control her.

“He’s a monster. I’ve known he’s a monster for years,” said Wright. “I’ve waited a long time to see if he would grow a conscience, and the more drugs he pumps down his wife’s throat to keep her together.”

Her comments sent social media into complete meltdown and we’ve received a lot of queries on the topic, with many people scouring the internet for evidence of her claims. Honestly, there isn’t much proof to it except words, but some people are convinced the accusations are true because of the power imbalance in their relationship.

As you know by now Jay-Z started dating Beyoncé when she was 18. However, internet sleuths believes he had been grooming her since she was 16-years-old. Because Beyoncé spent most of her teenage years recording and touring, she never really got to meet boys are age and Jay-Z, who was already in his 30s was her first serious relationship.

This was a man already deep into hip-hop beefs with the likes of Nas, Mobb Deep, 50 Cent and Cam’ron. So, although Bey yielded a lot of star power back then, Jay had more life experiences and was far more superior intelctually and finacially. As the only man she’s ever dated in her adult years, Bey would’ve been compelled to obey his every command.

Jay-Z and Beyoncé dated officially for almost ten years before eventually tying the knot April 4, 2008 when Beyoncé was 27. Their relationship was the envy of the music world, but according to uncle Ron, the marriage was nothing more than a business transaction arranged to elevate both their careers.

“To remember your relationship was a business relationship. Financial, to get to the top, to become billionaires. There’s no love there,” claimed Uncle in a since deleted Tiktok video. [not sure if he deleted it himself or if it was taken down].

Jaguar Wright also seemed to back up Ron’s claims with more damming allegations. In a video that surfaced online, Jag Wright described Jay-Z as a “monster” who keeps Beyoncé hooked on drugs to keep her compliant. She also claimed Beyoncé was a prisoner in her marriage and charged the BeyHive to start a free Beyoncé movement.

“I tell you this right now, y’all talking about free Brittney [Griner], y’all need to be doing a campaign and say ‘free Beyoncé.’ She is a prisoner in a guilty cage,” she declared. “And she’s watched 24 hours a day, she’s not allowed to make a choice for herself, not at all, not in anyway. People think she has this amazing life. She is told what to say, she is told what to eat, she is told what to drink, she is told what to wear.”

“She is not her husband’s wife, she is his employee,” Jaguar added. “It’s a business arrangement, she was a dowry.”

People found it difficult to understand why Beyoncé would choose to remain in the relationship if Jag’s comments about her being basically treated like a puppet were true, but uncle Ron noted in his TikTok video that Jay-Z uses drugs to subdue her, and that both Jay-Z and Beyoncé “will do anything to destroy anyone who speaks out against them.”

Is Jay-Z Drugging Beyoncé?

Truth be told, I find the allegations untrue because Beyoncé is BEYONCÉ. Even if she is no longer as vocal openly and has lost a bit of her early star power her family and friends are very influential still, and I doubt her mother, Tina Knowles would stay quiet if the Queen Bey was getting rag dolled, most importantly after dealing with abuse in her marriage.

Nevertheless, Jay-Z has alluded to being a manipulative and absent husband. In his song 4:44 he said “I seen the innocence live your eyes, I still mourn its death.” He later adds, “I apologize to all the women whom I toyed with their emotions because I was emotionless.”

Bey also opened up about her husband’s infidelity on her sixth solo album Lemonade, which was about breaking free from generational shackles. In a 2018 interview with Vogue she explained she comes “from a lineage of broken male-female relationships, abuse of power, and mistrust”, including a slave owner who married a slave. “Only when I saw that clearly was I able to resolve those conflicts in my own relationship. Connecting to the past and knowing our history makes us both bruised and beautiful.”

On ‘Daddy Lessons’ she likens Jay-Z cheating on her with her father Mathew Knowles cheating on her mother Tina.

Beyonce tried to live the marriage after finding out about Jay’s affair with ‘Becky with the good hair,’ but the two patched up their differences privately.
