Beyonce’s baby son Sir might be in an Empire State of Mind.
The boy’s grandmother Tina Knowles revealed that the seven-month-old tot ‘has a stare, like a mean mug’ like his father Jay Z, ‘which is so cute.’
The 63-year-old beauty detailed her joys of ‘being a grandmother’ in a chat with Us Weekly on Saturday at UCLA, where she was in attendance at the sixth annual Ladylike Day event.

Proud grandma: Tina Knowles, 63, said that her grandson Sir ‘has a stare, like a mean mug’ like his father Jay-Z, 48. Tina was snapped Saturday in LA, while Beyonce, 36, shared this shot of her twins this past July
Tina said that Sir’s twin sister Rumi is ‘so sweet’ and ‘just so happy all the time,’ adding of the tandem – who Beyonce gave birth to in June – ‘They are just adorable!’
‘It’s not like being a mom because you don’t have to have all the responsibility all the time, but they are amazing,’ Tina said. ‘This is my first experience around twins, and they’re so different, and their personalities and they are wonderful.’
Tina, who’s also grandma to Solange’s 13-year-old son Julez, and Beyonce’s five-year-old daughter Blue Ivy, said she ‘cannot wait’ for her family holiday get-together to commence.

Grateful: Tina, pictured last month in LA, said that ‘it’s one of the best blessings’ to be a grandmother
‘I’m going to cook the biggest meal with everything I know how to cook,’ she told the publication. ‘We’re all going to be together … it’s really hard to get everyone together these days. It’s becoming harder and harder!’
Tina and her husband Richard Lawson chat with Entertainment Tonight in October, where she called the twins ‘absolutely beautiful and so much fun,’ adding that they’re so cute, she ‘can hardly take it.’
She said that the tots have ‘very different personalities,’ noting, ‘It’s just really, really different with two babies.’

Tina also praised Blue Ivy, who turns six in a few weeks, for being a ‘good sister’ to her new siblings.
Richard added, ‘Just seeing her grow up, it’s bringing some maturity. She’s only five, but you can see the transition in terms of her being a little more calm.
‘Because she’s the diva, but she’s sharing her diva-dom.’
