Meanwhile Beyoncé took to Instagram last week to express her profound gratitude to fans for supporting her concert film and documentary, Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé.

While reacting to the news that her much-anticipated movie took over the box office last weekend, the superstar gushed that she is ‘so deeply thankful to AMC and every team member who worked so hard on this film.’

‘I just can’t thank all of you enough for your support. It was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done because of the short turn around time,’ she captioned a video, featuring footage from the film’s multiple premieres, attended by Taylor Swift, Blake Lively, Lizzo Kris Jenner and various other A-listers.

In order to get the movie to the public on such a tight deadline, the Destiny’s Child alum confessed that she ‘practically slept in the edit, color, and mix sessions.’

Despite feeling that she was racing against the clock to ‘get this film out so quickly,’ the mother-of-three raved that ‘it was so worth all the grind.’

‘I am overwhelmed by the outpouring of love from my Hive. And WOW! I am so touched and encouraged by the incredible reviews!!!,’ she raved, nodding to the Renaissance movie debuting with a 100% Rotten Tomatoes rating.

The 32-time Grammy winner also gushed that she loves ‘seeing everyone all dressed up in their most opulent lewks in the theaters.’

‘The mute challenges still happening, even in the theater!! Y’all are cracking me up. Please keep that energy going. I can’t wait to see what else yall do 🙂 I also love seeing the positive take aways from people who were not my fans or didn’t yet know my story,’ the Halo hitmaker continued. ‘The people who had no interest in seeing my shows who have now gained a deeper understanding and respect for all it takes to be a RENAISSANCE woman.’
