Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s kids: Meet Blue Ivy, Rumi and Sir

Superstars Beyoncé and Jay-Z may have more than 50 Grammys between them — but at home, they’re simply Mom and Dad to three little ones.

The couple tied the knot in April 2008 and started growing their family four years after their New York City nuptials.

Having a daughter gave the performers “purpose” in life, the former Destiny’s Child member explained to Anderson Cooper in 2012.

“I realized why I was born and, more than anything, all of the things I want to pass onto my child,” Queen Bey said at the time.

Before the pair welcomed their twins in 2017, the “Lemonade” singer gushed to Garage magazine that becoming a mother was “hands down” her “proudest moment.”

In August 2011, Beyoncé debuted her pregnancy at the MTV Video Music Awards during a performance of “Love on Top,” unbuttoning her sequined blazer to cradle her baby bump.

The songwriter gave birth to Blue Ivy in January of the following year at age 31.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s daughter has been featured on many of their songs, starting with her dad’s “Glory” single when she was only a newborn.

Since then, Blue has earned a Grammy for her work on “Brown Skin Girl” and performed dance moves for massive audiences on her mom’s “Renaissance” tour.

The preteen has also modeled for Beyoncé’s Ivy Park line.

According to Blue’s grandma Tina Knowles-Lawson, she is a “makeup guru” who “never ceases to amaze” with her drawing, painting and piano-playing skills.

Beyoncé surprised her Instagram followers with her pregnancy news in February 2017.

“We would like to share our love and happiness. We have been blessed two times over,” she captioned maternity shoot photos at the time.

“We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes.”

She has rarely shown the little ones over the years.

The couple’s son, Sir, and daughter Rumi were born four months later and spent “many weeks in the NICU” before heading home, Beyoncé later revealed in a Vogue interview.

The little ones made their social media debut in July 2017, when they were just a month old.

While they have mostly stayed out of the spotlight since, Knowles-Lawson called Sir “laidback and chill” while speaking to Us Weekly in 2019.

When it comes to Rumi’s personality, Knowles-Lawson told the outlet that she is “going to rule the world.”

In July 2022, the grandparent spilled to Oprah Daily about Rumi’s “love” of fashion, revealing she “picks out her own clothes.”
