The Interstellar star has won an Academy Award and a Golden Globe.

Anne Hathaway is one of the most accomplished actors working in the industry right now. She has worked with acclaimed directors such as Christopher Nolan, Tom Hooper, Ang Lee, and Nancy Meyers. She has starred in commercially successful films such as The Dark Knight Rises, The Devil Wears Prada, and Get Smart.
Hathaway has seen success both commercially and critically. She has won the Academy Award for Best Actress and the Golden Globe while also being one of the highest-paid actresses in 2015.
However, she has also seen extreme failure at the global box office. Here are four films of Hathaway that did not even cross $1 million worldwide.
1. She Came To Me – $952,000

Anne Hathaway starred in two films this year. While the first film Eileen received positive reviews for her supporting performance in the Thomasin McKenzie starrer, her other film She Came To Me was a huge flop despite the talents of Peter Dinklage and Marisa Tomei being featured.
The film received mixed reviews from critics and audiences, who were disappointed with the wasted potential of a talented cast like Hathaway, Dinklage, and Tomei. The film only earned $952,000 upon release despite a Berlin International Film Festival premiere.
2. Song One – $408,000

With the right writing and direction, Anne Hathaway has delivered hits in the romantic genre. She has seen great success in films such as The Princess Diaries, Love and Other Drugs, and One Day.
However, another miss like the previous entry on the list was Song One. Written and directed by Kate Barker-Froyland, the film also starred Johnny Flynn and Mary Steenburgen.
While the performances were appreciated, critics claimed that the film fell short due to its cliche premise. The film only earned $408,000 worldwide against a $6 million budget.
3. Havoc – $371,000

Anne Hathaway’s 2005 film Havoc had a lot of promise. The film was directed by acclaimed two-time Academy Award-winning documentarian Barbara Kopple and also starred Channing Tatum, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Laura San Giacomo.
The film explored the life of wealthy white teens in LA who try to imitate the hip-hop lifestyle and culture. Though the film had run at film festivals worldwide, it never received a US release. It was released internationally and only earned $371,000 at the box office. It was released on home video.
4. Locked Down – $346,000

Anne Hathaway and Chiwetel Ejiofor starred in the heist comedy Locked Down in 2021. The film was directed by Doug Liman, known for directing some of the best action films of the 2000s and 2010s such as The Bourne Identity, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, and Edge of Tomorrow.
It was set during the COVID-19 pandemic and was also a romantic comedy.
However, the film was not received well by critics or audiences and was criticized for its weak writing. It earned $346,000 for its limited release globally and was released on HBO Max, before being taken down from the streaming platform in 2022.
