Love Island star Zara McDermott has sent fans into a frenzy as she shared a beautiful snap with her boyfriend Sam Thompson, with many convinced the pair are engaged

Zara McDermott has left fans guessing if she’s engaged to Sam Thompson after sharing a cosy snap with him.

The Love Island star has been spending quality time with Sam, who recently returned from the I’m A Celebrity jungle as King of the Jungle. Although Zara couldn’t be there to meet him on the iconic bridge, TOWIE star Pete Wicks stepped in.

But the couple seem to be making up for lost time as they shared a lovely photo of them together on their Instagram pages, sparking rumours that they might be getting married.

In the picture, Sam and Zara are standing in front of a Christmas tree, looking cosy in festive outfits. Alongside the photo, Sam wrote: “Beautiful day with a beautiful person.”

But it was Zara’s hidden hands that have got fans talking with some speculating that Sam might have proposed. One fan commented on the post: “Was absolutely certain this was an engagement announcement for a second.”

Another fan added fuel to the fire, saying: “Ring finger is hidden, so maybe they’re just not announcing it yet.” A third simply posted: “Engagement news pending, surely!!”

Zara and Sam have yet to address the speculation and instead the Strictly star shared a video of her nephew Leo.

The couple and Ryan Libbey spent the afternoon with Leo in a cafe and Zara couldn’t help but gush over how cute the youngster is.

In the video captioned: “No why is he the cutest human on this earth,” Leo sange Twinkle Twinkle with his dad and uncle.

He was dressed warmly in a red puffer jacket and held onto a mini guitar as Zara sang along with him.

This comes after Sam shared his thoughts on his I’m A Celebrity experience in a heartfelt Instagram post. He wrote: “My feet haven’t touched the ground because I have literally been walking on air.”

He added: “I will look back on this [experience] forever to remind myself of the fact that I did the coolest thing in the world and how lucky I am.”
