During the match between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Houston Rockets, a scandal, which became known only a day later, had occurred.
The team from Los Angeles hosted the guests on their home court and beat them with a score of 107:97.
Things got heated in the fourth quarter when Lakers star LeBron James and Rockets head coach Ime Udoka got into an altercation.
Judging by the footage published online, the mentor called the star basketball player a bitch.
“We’re grown men, the word ‘bitch’ shouldn’t be used in any situation, don’t use it so casually,” James said.
The match referee intervened in the altercation and gave the participants a technical foul. Since he became the second in the match for the visiting team coach, he had to leave the site.
The content of LeBron James’ expletive-laden argument with Rockets head coach Ime Udoka during Houston’s 107-97 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers has been revealed.
As Rockets forward Tari Eason walked to the free-throw line late in the game after bumping into Lakers forward Cam Reddish, Udoka was critical of how the Lakers were playing, despite being in the lead. With Los Angeles already on the path to victory, Udoka was less than thrilled by how the Lakers were complaining about fouls and traveling violations.
“Ya’ll gotta stop crying like b****es, man,” Udoka said. “Stop b****ing.”
After hearing what Udoka said, James made it a point to put the Rockets’ coach in his place for using that kind of language. “We all grown men. That b**** word ain’t cool man. Don’t use it so loosely. Don’t use that word so loosely.”
In response, Udoka continued to snap back at James: “Crying like b****es, yeah” to which the four-time champion reiterated that Udoka shouldn’t throw the word around like it means nothing. It didn’t stop there, however, as Udoka kept pressing the 38-year-old, asking him “what he’s going to do” about it.
“Walking up to me like you’re gonna do something, soft little boy,” Udoka said to James. At that point, the referee, who was standing right next to the two, gave each a technical foul for the conversation.

Because it was Udoka’s second technical foul – the 46-year-old was assessed a technical in the second quarter – he was ejected from the game. After the game, neither James nor Udoka felt compelled to share the specifics of their conversation, despite the confrontation being recorded and posted to social media.
“We had some conversation and [the refs] didn’t like what they heard,” Udoka told reporters after the game. James jokingly said that the two were discussing how much they had “enjoyed Thanksgiving.”
This isn’t the first time James has taken offense to someone using the word “b****” in an insulting and derogatory way. In 2016, when James, then with the Cleveland Cavaliers, faced off against Draymond Green and the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals, James took extra offense when Green called him a “b****” to his face.
