Vice Admiral Tsuru and Former Fleet Admiral Sengoku are the best options that Monkey D. Garp has.
SUMMARY
After One Piece chapter 1088 released, the fans kept scratching their heads thinking about what happened to Monkey D. Garp since his status was changed to ‘Unknown’ at Hachinosu.
Eiichiro Oda has still not confirmed that Monkey D. Garp is dead, so there is still a thin chance of him being alive, and the best people to find it out are his colleagues, Vice Admiral Tsuru and Former Fleet Admiral Sengoku.
Tsuru and Sengoku are allies of Monkey D. Garp and are pretty strong, and if they lead a battalion to Hachinosu, they might find Monkey D. Garp.
One Piece remains one of the greatest anime of all time. Even after starting in 1999, it is still at its peak and competing with modern anime. Everything related to Eiichiro Oda’s magnum opus is famous – be it Netflix’s One Piece Live Adaptation, anime, or manga. One of the factors that helped Eiichrio Oda maintain the popularity of his creation is the mysteries related to his stories.
Fans are scratching their heads over one particular mystery. They are thinking about whether Monkey D. Garp is alive or dead after going on a rampage at Hachinosu to save Koby. It was a specular arc, and the fans got a glimpse of why he is called the Hero of the Marines.
Now that his location has been changed to unknown, fans are worried about his well-being. There is a particular duo who knows Garp pretty well and could take up arms once again to save him.
Monkey D. Garp Could Be Saved By His Fellow Marine Colleagues
Monkey D. Garp
There is no news on Monkey D. Garp after the event at Hachinosu. Shiryu and former Admiral Aokiji took him down. But there is still a way to save him if the Marines bring down a force to Hachinosu.
Two of Garp’s former allies, Tsuru and Sengoku, could lead the line. Garp, Tsuru, and Sengoku are prominent figures in the Marines. They epitomised justice during the Whitebeard and Gol D. Roger era.
Seeing Garp in such a condition, the veteran Marine duo could come down at Hachinosu and wreak havoc on the whole island. Tsuru ate the Woshu Woshu no Mi, and Sengoku ate the Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Daibutsu.
They are strong Haki users and change Garp’s status to ‘known.’ In One Piece, Garp was always seen with either of the two and seeing their comrade in distress, they might not sit back and let it flow.

What Happened to Monkey D. Garp in One Piece?
One Piece chapter 1088 ended with Monkey D. Garp’s status being changed to ‘Unknown.’ During the abduction of the Kuja pirates by the Blackbeard Pirates, Koby tried to save the former. He saved her, but at the cost of his life, and was taken back to Hachinosu.
After hearing this, Garp marched towards Hachinosu since Koby was one of his trained officers. He landed on the Pirate Island with one of the strongest abilities, ‘Galaxy Impact,’ and shook the whole island.
Monkey D. Garp impaled by Aokiji in One Piece
Then, a vicious battle broke out between the pirates and the Hero of the Marines. Garp was single-handedly pounding all the Commanders of the Blackbeard Pirates. After that, Aokiji, the Tenth Commander of the Blackbeard Pirates, entered the battlefield and fought with Garp.
They were exchanging blows on an equal level, and after some time, Garp was beginning to get the upper hand. But suddenly, Shiryu used his invisible Devil Fruit and inflicted a fatal injury on him.
The injury made him weaker, allowing Aokiji to use his Devil Fruit powers to impale Monkey D. Garp. One Piece chapter 1088 shows that he instilled his will upon the young generation and helped them escape Pirate Island. Even though Koby and the other pirates escaped, nothing has been heard from or about Monkey D. Garp after the incident.

Now, if Tsuru and Sengoku decide to go to Hachinosu, another Paramount War could break out, and instead of Ace, Garp would be in the middle of it. Only time will tell whether the Hero of the Marines gets saved by his hero colleagues in One Piece.
