Dwayne Johnson unhesitantly appears to have compared The Avengers to DCU’s Justice League
Dwayne Johnson is popular for his ring name The Rock, and he finally debuted for DC Universe last year with his film Black Adam. However, the film received mixed reviews owing to its screenplay. Amid the film’s failure to mint money or garner appreciation from fans, The Rock’s remarks about superheroes from Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) has been going viral.
Johnson unhesitantly appears to have compared The Avengers to DCU’s Justice League and suggested that ‘the Avengers aren’t that strong enough when compared to DC superheroes’. He also opined that intergalactic warlord Thanos doesn’t stand a chance if he were a DCU villain – the superheroes would shred him to pieces!
A Fandom Wire reported that The Rock was asked whether the supervillain Mad Titan from the Marvel Cinematic Universe scares him. To which Johnson expressed that Thanos absolutely doesn’t scare him. He also stated that while the Avengers were his buddies, they were also “pus*ies.”
Dwayne Johnson said, “Here’s the thing with the Avengers. So you ask if Thano, what? How do you call the name? If Thanos would scare me? Here’s the thing with the Avengers. They’re all my buddies. They’re pu**ies, that’s the thing.”
Johnson also added, “The Avengers? No, you know who’s tough in the Avengers? None of them! DC is in the house! You know what I am saying.”
To note, this was nothing but a friendly banter on Dwayne Johnson’s side.
Previously, on several occasions, The Rock has praised Marvel, however, from the looks of it he apparently chooses to pledge his loyalty to DCU.
