After that, he apologized to Luffy and rejoined the crew for their journey. Even though Usopp had played crucial roles before the time jump, it appears that his role diminished after the two-year break.

Fans were surprised to see him more muscular after the time skip, thinking he would perform better with improved tactics and strength. However, his role becomes smaller.

His biggest moment since the time skip occurred in the Dressrosa arc, where he prevented Sugar from turning Law and Luffy into toys. Unfortunately, he hasn’t achieved much in the subsequent arcs.

Even in the Wano arc, where every crew member experiences significant growth and secures victories over notable characters, Usopp doesn’t achieve a noteworthy win, disappointing the fans. However, the story isn’t over yet, and he’s still one of the main characters, so there’s still time for him to make a comeback.
