I’M A Celeb champ Sam Thompson and girlfriend Zara McDermott have been tipped to crack America following a bumper year.

Between them Sam, 31, and Zara, 26, appeared on the two biggest shows on TV this year.

While Sam was crowned King of the I’m a Celebrity jungle, Zara took part in Strictly Come Dancing.

Now it’s been reported 2024 will be equally as exciting for them.

An insider told new! magazine: “Sam’s profile has catapulted since appearing on I’m a Celeb and winning the competition was the cherry on top.

“Plus, Zara’s Strictly stint means they are both on their way up. Their real dream though is to crack America.”

The source added that Sam and Zara are keen to work together as a couple – and that they’ve even been “in talks” to host This Morning.

Earlier this week Sam sent This Morning viewers wild when he made his presenting debut alongside Craig Doyle and Josie Gibson.

He hosted the Spin to Win segment and fans later called for him to join the presenting team full-time.

One wrote on social media: “Imagine Sam hosting This Morning.

“We would all love the show then because it means someone else can be as happy and hyper in the mornings and not us.”
