One Piece is nothing less than a masterpiece that has been going on for over two decades, and fans still can’t get enough of it. Oda sensei has written arguably one of the best stories that could ever exist; however, the fans find some aspects of this fantastic story wrong and are against it.

Although One Piece has numerous aspects for which fans are grateful, such as a fantastic plot twist, well-drawn fights, and very emotional deaths, which fans still can’t get over, there are several aspects of Oda Sensi’s story that fans do not like, such as the significant sexualization of female characters in One Piece.

The fans do not accept the sexualization of female characters in One Piece

There are countless characters in One Piece; the fans love some characters while they don’t love some as well. However, in the end, their appearance is based on Oda sensei and how he wants them to look.

A significant issue that has been ongoing for several years now is the visible sexuality of Nami and Robin in One Piece, which the fans are not okay with.

The character design of the female characters in the series is hugely unrealistic and is made only to do fan service.

Although they are solid and capable of wreaking havoc alone, their appearance is made for fan service, as many viewers believe.

The female characters have highly tiny waists and huge breasts, which realistically is not possible and would cause a significant hindrance in fights.

Fans love the characters; however, they hope the clear sexualization of female characters in the series should be toned down and made more realistic so people can relate to them.

The way their bodies are designed and how they fight during battles are both physically impossible due to such a disproportionate body.

The post-time skip design of female Nami and Robin in One Piece only added fuel to the fire

Post-time skip, several characters changed a lot, and one of the most disappointing things to the fans was that Robin and Nami only grew more extensive in the chest.

Their pre-time skip design was already a topic of controversy in the audience; however, the post-time skip design added more fire to it.

Many fans believe that their “upgrades” only serve to sexualize them further and satisfy some fans of the series who like it this way.

However, many believe the character’s design is okay and that we should focus more on their character traits than their appearance.

One thing is for sure: both of these characters are tremendously powerful and capable of beating many opponents single-handedly without breaking a sweat, which fans love.
