Netflix viewers are completely hooked to new series Fool Me Once and many can’t take their eyes away from leading actress Michelle Keegan.

Fans rushed to X to gush over how ‘stunning’ the ex Coronation Street star, 36, who portrays former army captain Maya, is in the new thriller.

But it wasn’t just Michelle’s beauty that was noticed as many praised her ‘amazing’ acting in the eight-part drama which is an adaptation of American mystery-thriller writer Harlan Coben.

One wrote: ‘#FoolMeOnce on @NetflixUK is a must watch @michkeegan is amazing in it and not to mention the woman doesn’t seem to age at all she’s stunning #Netflix #newseries’.

Fool Me Once is based off of a book by acclaimed author Harlan Coben, and also stars the likes of British heavyweight Dame Joanna Lumley, The Hobbit star Richard Armitage and Irish actor Emmett J. Scanlan.

Its synopsis reads: ‘When ex-soldier Maya sees her murdered husband on a secret nanny cam, she uncovers a deadly conspiracy that stretches deep into the past.’

It comes Michelle’s husband Mark Wright took to his Instagram Story to praise her new series.

Mark – who tied the knot with Michelle, also 36, in 2015 – was a proud husband as he wrote, alongside a teaser clip: ‘Unbelievable show, unbelievably proud. @michkeegan you’re a superstar.

In the show, Michelle plays the seemingly widowed Maya Stern, but after installing a nanny-cam to keep an eye on her young daughter, she sees her dead husband Joe – played by Richard Armitage – on camera.

This revelation throws Maya into a world of conspiracy as she questions what really happened to her partner, and what role his family, and in particular his mother (Joanna Lumley as Judith Burkett), played in the saga.

The star’s latest project comes after she enjoyed some family time as she and Mark joined family to celebrate his father’s birthday at the Corinthia Hotel last month.
