The former Lakers player remains hospitalized
NBA fans were shocked by the news of the fall and subsequent hospitalization of Los Angeles Lakers legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
The 78-year-old former player fell at a concert that caused him to fracture his hip and become hospitalized.

TMZ report that he was taken to the emergency room by paramedics after they quickly rushed to his aid at the scene, which has not been disclosed.
His representative Deborah Morales was quoted telling TMZ that the basketball hero is currently in the care of doctors and nurses at UCLA Hospital, praising the work of medics involved.
Magic Johnson sends Abdul-Jabbar his best wishes
One of the people who wanted to send his best wishes to Abdul-Jabbar was another Lakers legend, Magic Johnson.
“I’m wishing my Showtime teammate Kareem Abdul-Jabbar a speedy recovery after falling and breaking his hip! Praying for the Captain!” he wrote on X.
Abdul-Jabbar looks to be out of danger as his agent has let it be known that he is gradually recovering and is in good condition. This is not the first health problem the six-time NBA champion and six-time MVP has dealt with. In 2020 he announced that he was recovering from prostate cancer and leukemia since 2008.
