Those who follow the Kardashians are aware that Kim Kardashian has recently accumulated a sizable real estate portfolio.

The reality star and founder of Skims primarily resides in the Hidden Hills, California, house that her ex-husband Kanye West transformed from a suburban McMansion to a tranquil sanctuary with assistance from Axel Vervoordt, Claudio Silvestrin, and Vincent Van Duysen.

She is known for favoring a minimalist aesthetic and a neutral color palette. The mogul appears to be concentrating on building somewhere she can retreat to with her most recent purchases. She is constructing a holiday home in Palm Springs with Tadao Ando, another house in an undisclosed location with Kengo Kuma, and most recently, she paid $70.4M for a coastal Malibu property.

Kim takes her younger sister Khloé Kardashian to see the new house for the first time in an exclusive clip from season three, episode seven of her Hulu reality show The Kardashians.

“This house just really represents to me a lot of the hard work that I’ve put in, and it’s like enjoying the fruits of my labor,” says Kim in a candid interview. She talks about her future plans for the home as she stands on the land, which is elevated above the beach and offers views of the ocean. It has fresh vigor. I am very excited to make a lot of memories here, she says.

Although the video doesn’t show the inside of the house, it is obvious that Kim intends to make Cindy Crawford’s former home her own. She informs her sister that when the renovations are finished, “it will be fab.”

The 7,450-square-foot Mediterranean-style mansion was one of the most expensive real estate purchases in Malibu history when Kim bought it in 2022. The property has extras including a spa, a tennis court, a campfire area, and a pool with a cabana with an outdoor fireplace in addition to exclusive beach access.

Kim seems optimistic that her new beach house will one day be a place where the entire family can spend happy times together, even though one of the main plot points on this season of The Kardashians has been the simmering tension between Kim and her older sister, Kourtney Kardashian Barker, which seems likely to boil over elsewhere in Thursday’s episode.
