James Cameron’s Titanic is considered to be the greatest romantic masterpiece in the history of cinematography and for all the right reasons. James Cameron Almost Rejected Leonardo DiCaprio For His Poor Attitude

During an exclusive interview with GQ, the Aliens director stated that he shortlisted Leonardo DiCaprio for the role of Jack Dawson. However, James Cameron wanted the actor to test for the role so that he can clear his doubts about the part. However, Leonardo DiCaprio was against testing for his role which put off James Cameron.
“He said, ‘Oh, I don’t read.’ I shook his hand and said, ‘Thanks for coming by.’ And he said, ‘Wait, wait, wait. If I don’t read, I don’t get the part? Just like that?’”
