During her appearance on GQ’s Actually Me, while answering one fan’s question on Quora on how to date the Oscar Winner, Lawrence made the procedure sound extremely easy by joking about being single at the time.

However, not long after this episode of Actually Me dropped, she kickstarted a romantic bond with art gallery director Cooke Maroney, eventually tying the knot with him in 2019.

Jennifer Lawrence has been on a lot of “awful dates” over the years, admitting that the problems in those dates mostly narrowed down to her, expressing that she was gross at times. And while she wasn’t too keen on getting married when she initially linked to Cooke Maroney, things changed fast, as the actress was adamant about legally binding her best friend to her “forever”. 

Speaking on Catt Sadler’s Naked with Catt Sadler podcast, Lawrence said,

“I just met Cooke and I wanted to marry him. We wanted to marry each other, we wanted to commit fully. He’s my best friend. I want to legally bind him to me forever. And fortunately, the paperwork exists for such a thing. You find your favorite person on the planet and you’re like, ‘You can’t leave!’”
