It comes a week after her return to Dancing On Ice was announced

FORMER This Morning host Holly Willoughby has been offered lucrative radio gigs — with the BBC leading the bidders.

She has been off air for three months after an alleged kidnap and murder plot saw her quit the ITV show.

Since then Holly, who will return to Dancing On Ice on January 14, has received a flurry of offers from radio bosses.

A source said: “Radio 2 and Global are both keen on getting Holly on their books.

“After she quit This Morning, she has more time on her hands and a weekly radio gig could be the perfect fit.

“Claudia Winkleman stepped down from her weekly slot on Radio 2 and the BBC would love to see if Holly would consider it.

“Global is also keen to see if she’d work with them, especially after Amanda Holden proved to be such a hit for them on Heart and Kate Garraway on Smooth Radio.

“There have been a number of approaches to Holly which she can weigh up whenever she is ready.”

The 42-year-old star stepped down from This Morning in October after the alleged plot was made public.

She had been hosting with other presenters including Dermot O’Leary since co-host Phillip Schofield quit the show.

Holly remained out of the public eye until it was announced last week she would be returning to ITV’s ice dancing series, hosting alongside Stephen Mulhern.

Their partnership comes two decades after Holly and Stephen, 46, presented together on ITV kids’ show Ministry of Mayhem.

Stephen recently told The Sun: “I’d be crazy not to do it.

“Holly is a dream partner to work with.”

Insiders revealed Holly will address her absence from screens in a brief statement at the start of the opening episode.

Increased security measures will also be put in place by ITV to ensure she is safe during filming at Bovingdon Airfield Studios.
