NBA LeBron James et Kevin Durant

Competition has raged in recent years in the NBA. The confrontations between teams are getting tighter and tighter.

At the same time, new stars have emerged and evolved, and among them, there is one who would have surpassed LeBron James and Kevin Durant according to Paul Pierce. Except that he didn’t convince many people…

The years pass, but the two superstars who have dominated the league for more than 15 years are still present. We are of course talking about Kevin Durant and LeBron James who are both getting closer to the end of their careers and yet, they have lost almost none of their splendor.

Indeed, the Slim Reaper achieved his best scoring season with 31.4 points while the King averaged 25.7 points per game at over 58% success.

That being said, they’re not the only ones shining right now. Players of the current generation are indeed starting to gain more and more momentum.

The debate over the best basketball player in the league had therefore not been so hotly contested for a long time, particularly among the American pool. Paul Pierce recently threw a wrench in the pond by revealing the best of them, in his eyes:

Jayson Tatum, stronger than LeBron James and Kevin Durant?

Jayson Tatum is the best American player at the moment. I look at all these players and I think he passed Kevin Durant, he passed LeBron. The only possible debate is with Steph Curry.

As a reminder, JT has more than 28 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists this season while the Celtics have the best record in the Eastern Conference (11-3).

Not only that, but the winger seems to be at the top of his game, notably giving off a pretty crazy feeling of ease. And to think that he is still only 25 years old and that his prime is still to come… However, few fans have agreed with The Truth’s opinion.

At 35, KD has better stats than Tatum at the moment

What are you talking about man? He didn’t get past these three, he’s not even in the top 7 😭

For Paul Pierce, it is clear that Jayson Tatum has become stronger than LeBron James and Kevin Durant.

On the other hand, his opinion is not necessarily shared by all NBA fans, some of whom think that despite their age, the two legends remain better than the franchise player of the Celtics.
