Smith basically saying, “Steph is a bad leader because Draymond did that. » It made me angry and it destroyed me. Steph didn’t do anything to deserve this. Why should he be called a bad leader because of this?
This guy does everything right and yet he gets taken down because of my actions? It destroyed me. It really hurt me. And given that he was publicly dismantled for this, I’m going to publicly apologize to him. I sincerely apologize to Steph for my actions.

Indirect victim of his partner’s attitude, Curry could have held it against him and not necessarily given him the support he needed. And yet, contrary to what Stephen A. criticizes him, he would have continued to honor his role as leader with Dray, as the latter asserts:
