It was a tearful moment on Friday’s I’m a Celebrity when the campmates were surprised by an emotional reunion with their loved ones.
But Rachael Bellew, 40, revealed filming was so exhausting it left her unable to travel to the jungle the next day and risked not being there to greet her husband if he was eliminated.
The mother-of-four told MailOnline: ‘It was very long and I was so worn out I didn’t go into the jungle this morning.’
The family and friends crew left on a bus from the Marriott Hotel in Surfers’ Paradise at 5am for the show live in the jungle and did not return until 4pm.
She was joined by Marvin Humes’s wife Rochelle, Sam Thompson’s best friend Pete Wicks, Nigel Farage’s daughter Isabelle and Josie Gibson’s best friend Mia whose loved ones also made it into the final five contestants.

Rachael Bellew, 40, revealed filming the surprise I’m A Celebrity reunion with her husband Tony Bellew, 41, was so exhausting it left her unable to travel to the jungle the next day

Tony Bellew has made it to the final four on this year’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! and his wife Rachael has flown to Australia to greet him when he leaves the jungle
But Rachael had to leave her four young sons Corey, 18, Cobey, 15, Carter, 11 and Carson, three, at the hotel all day in the care of her eldest while she filmed for the ITV show.
Speaking about the moment she saw her husband and childhood sweetheart, she said: ‘It was very emotional but I had to hold it together because I didn’t want Tony to be upset on TV.’
The family and friends spent up to six hours waiting in the stifling jungle while filming for the 10 minute segment was ongoing.
They had to wear long clothing to protect themselves from bugs in an already hot and humid jungle.
Rachael was so exhausted by the excursion she could not make it for the 5am bus the following day leaving for the jungle.
This is the longest the couple, who wed in 2018, have been apart from each other since the day they met 22 years ago and Tony broke down in tears when he saw Rachael.
She told him: ‘The kids miss you, they can’t wait to see you and they’re all dead proud of you.’
Tony could not stop hugging and kissing his wife as he said: ‘This will stick with me more than any moment I’ve had in the jungle.’

Then she laughed: ‘Just dead quick before I forget, where’s the plug for the leccy toothbrush?’
Marvin Humes was the sixth contestant to be voted off the show on Friday leaving Josie Gibson, Sam Thompson, Nigel Farage and Tony as the final four contestants.
Speaking to Ant and Dec after his elimination, Marvin reflected on his ‘bromance’ and close friendship with Made In Chelsea star Sam.
The pair have repeatedly kept the camp entertained with duets and movie-style performances, and Marvin confirmed he has invited Sam to sing with JLS.
He vowed: ‘We said to Sam as well, he’s got to come and perform with me and the lads at some point next year.’
Commenting on his own tunes during his stint in the jungle, Marvin quipped: ‘I didn’t stop singing did I? I never sing that much, not even in JLS!’
When asked who he wants to be crowned the 2023 winner, Marvin named both Sam and boxer Tony as he showed his support for his pals.
The winner will be announced on Sunday night’s episode.
