Britney Spears’ son Jayden kicked off the new year with a day at the beach in his new home of Hawaii.

The 17-year-old was spotted soaking up the sun with his girlfriend, his dad, Kevin Federline, and Kevin’s wife Victoria Prince on Tuesday. It was unclear if Britney and Kevin’s other son, Sean, who is 18, joined the family outing.

Jayden wrapped his arm around his mystery girlfriend as they enjoyed a stroll on the sand before taking a splash in the ocean.

Former dancer Kevin joined in on the fun as well and jumped into the water while still wearing his hoodie.

The seaside jaunt comes a day after the Toxic singer shared adorable throwback snaps of her two sons, from whom she’s been estranged for years.

In the pics, Britney appears in high spirits as she is nestled between the two young boys.

In the other two snaps, the ‘Break the Ice’ hitmaker hugs Sean and Jayden as they make hilarious faces towards the camera.

The social media share could be a sign Britney and her sons are working on repairing their relationship, as they been entangled in a public feud for years.

The singer didn’t get a chance to say goodbye when Kevin, who has sole custody, moved the boys, and his wife Victoria Prince, to Hawaii earlier this year.

Both Sean and Jayden also skipped out on their mom’s wedding to Sam Asghari in June 2022. The couple have since split.

It was unclear if Britney and Kevin’s other son, Sean, 18, joined the fun family outing.

The two teenagers said it wasn’t a ‘good time to go’ in an interview with documentary film maker Daphne Barak for ITV.

‘At the time it just wasn’t a good time to go,’ Jayden explained.

‘I’m not saying that I’m not happy for her, I’m really happy for them, but she didn’t invite the whole family and then if it was just going to be me and Preston, I just don’t see how that situation would have ended on good terms.’

Britney had been publicly battling Kevin after he criticized her parenting in an interview, where he claimed Sean and Jayden decided not to see their mother at the moment.

Britney shot back on Instagram, writing, ‘It saddens me to hear that my ex husband has decided to discuss the relationship between me and my children… As we all know, raising teenage boys is never easy for anyone.’

Kevin also claimed Britney’s provocative selfies on social media were a large part of the issue, calling it ‘tough’ for the boys, especially since they are of high school age.

Britney referenced those comments by adding, ‘It concerns me the reason is based on my Instagram. It was LONG before Instagram.’

In the Barak interview, Jayden stressed there was ‘no hate’ between the boys and their mother, but he admitted that ‘it will take a lot of time and effort’ to repair their fractured relationship.’

The teenager added, ‘I 100% think this can be fixed. It’s just going to take a lot of time and effort.

‘I just want her to get better mentally. When she gets better I really want to see her again.’

Meanwhile, Britney wants to bury the hatchet with her sister Jamie Lynn and her mom Lynne.

She appeared to be channeling ‘peace on earth and goodwill to all men’ after she watched Jamie Lynn’s recent stint on I’m a Celeb and realized there’s no better time for a reconciliation than the holidays, according to The Sun.

‘Britney was supportive of Jamie Lynn going into the jungle and she kept across her time in Australia with some interest,’ an insider told the news source on Friday.

‘A lot of water has passed under that bridge and given it is Christmas, Britney is keen to try and put some of their past issues to bed.’

The alleged olive branch comes a few weeks after Britney celebrated her birthday with mom Lynn Spears after the pair were estranged for years following the singer’s  fallout with the family over her 13-year conservatorship.

Britney and Jamie have had a complicated relationship growing up as a famous family and later having to deal with Britney’s strict conservatorship imposed by her father.

Britney had been putting Jamie Lynn on blast as recently as January this year when she slammed her for saying ‘it was hard’ being her sibling.

In a July interview with Variety, Jamie Lynn said she has ‘absolute love’ for Britney but admitted that the backlash she received from the ‘Free Britney’ movement as well as her big sister’s scathing posts were ‘hard’ for her to deal with.

Going back further in January 2022 Jamie Lynn claimed in her tell-all book that her sister Britney once locked them in a room together while holding a knife.

In the book, Things I Should Have Said, the mother-of-two also claimed that Britney’s behaviour over the years has been, ‘erratic, paranoid and spiraling.’

Britney and Lynne’s feud began after the pop star claimed Lynne didn’t lift a finger to help free Britney of the 13-year conservatorship she was placed under in 2008, which was controlled by Britney’s father Jamie Spears.

Britney most recently feuded with her mother over claims that her mother threw out her childhood dolls and journals from her former family home.
