Ant McPartlin’s ex-wife Lisa Armstrong shared a post about karma just hours after his wife Anne-Marie Corbett stepped out ‘appearing pregnant’.

On Wednesday, the couple’s former assistant, 45, was seen in a loose dress as they prepared to jet off from Heathrow to Dubai to ring in the New Year.

It followed months of rumours that they might be expecting – particularly after she decided against flying to Australia to be at the 48-year-old TV legend’s side while he hosted ITV ‘s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here.

Lisa, who was married to Ant for 11 years before splitting in 2017, took to Instagram to share a post reading: ‘2023 = 8. Eight in numerology represents Karma. This will be the year where people will be recovering back what they have been putting out.’

There was no clear indication who the post was aimed at, however the message also comes in conjunction with her split from her boyfriend of three years, Sky electrician James Green, 40, earlier this year.

Anne-Marie is the former personal assistant of her now-husband Ant. She began working closely with the TV star in 2017, but worked for the same company as Dec Donnelly’s wife, Ali Astall, for over a decade in London

Ant and Anne-Marie were seen headed away on holiday, during which he was beaming as he wished fellow travellers a merry Christmas. An onlooker said: ‘He couldn’t stop smiling, he looked like the happiest man in the world.’

Ant and Lisa had a rocky road to their acrimonious split, which came amid his well-documented battle with substance abuse.

His battle came to a head in 2017, when he checked into rehab after becoming addicted to prescription drugs following a devastating knee injury at the time.

He gave a candid interview at the time admitting he had ‘let people down’, before thanking Lisa and co-star Declan Donnelly for their support.

His statement to the publication read: ‘The first step is to admit to yourself you need help. I’ve let people down. I’m truly sorry…

‘I feel like I have let a lot of people down and for that I’m truly sorry. I want to thank my wife, family and closest friends through this really difficult time.

‘I have spoken out because I think it is important that people ask for help if they are going through a rough time and get the proper treatment to help their recovery.’

He subsequently split from Lisa, whom he married in 2006, in December 2017 before it was revealed he was dating their former employee Anne-Marie.

Ant was open about his desire to have children long before he and Anne were married, but bemoaned it being ‘tougher than you think when you get a bit older’

The acrimonious divorce was made official in October 2018 at the Central Family Court in London where Ant admitted adultery. It was reported in January 2020 she received £31m as part of a divorce settlement with her famous ex.

He went on to marry Anne-Marie, who has two children, in 2021 in Hampshire.

Back in August, Lisa separated from her boyfriend, after which he moved out of her home. A source close to the couple said the surprise split had ‘come out of the blue’.

But a friend said that the end of their three-year relationship had been amicable and that the former couple would remain friends.

Lisa used to regularly post selfies on Instagram of her looking loved up with James, along with images of them enjoying a series of luxury holidays.

But following their break-up she has made no mention of James and has instead been posting pictures of her ten-year-old Labrador, Hurley, with whom she spent the festive season – having shared a Christmas card from her and the pup.
