Bartholomew Kuma’s Final Moments Becomes The Most Tragic Moment in One Piece History.

SUMMARY

The saddest One Piece moment to date was Ace’s passing at the hands of Sakazuki during the Marineford arc.

However, One Piece has once again surpassed itself; one character’s final moments are even more agonising than the most terrible series finale.

It’s likely the most depressing moment in One Piece because he not only turned into a mindless weapon, but also had his memories erased and was unable to say his goodbyes.

One Piece is not known for many tragic deaths and extremely depressing moments. The saddest moment up until now was Ace’s death during the Marineford arc at the hands of Sakazuki also known as Akainu. It was probably the worst moment in One Piece’s history as it not only killed Luffy’s brother but also one of the most important characters of the series.

But once again, One Piece has outdone itself; Kuma’s last moments are even more heartbreaking than the most tragic death in the series. With the most recent chapter release, Kuma’s last moments, just before Vegapunk wipes his memory, have become the most tragic moment instead of Ace’s death.

The fact that Kuma not only became a mindless weapon but also got his memories erased and never got a chance to bid farewell to his daughter Bonney makes it probably the most depressing moment of One Piece history. Ace’s death was surely one of the most tragic moments, but the emotional aspect that Kuma’s last moment created surpasses Ace’s death.
