As if Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift‘s relationship could not get better, the pop star has been given seal of approval from the tight end’s dad, Ed.

The budding romance took a step forward as Swift, 33, met Ed during a previous Kansas City Chiefs’ game on October 12 when the 12-time Grammy winner was spotted in a suite chatting with her NFL beau’s father.

And after Swift made another appearance at a Chiefs game during Sunday’s win against the Los Angeles Chargers, Ed had high praises for the popstar as the 34-year-old tight end’s father hailed his new-found love’s humility.

‘I’ll tell you something very special that I noticed about Taylor the first time I met her,’ Ed told People.

‘We’re sitting in the suite, she gets up and in the front room, she gets up to go get a drink or something and she starts picking up empty bottles, cans, plates that are scattered around. Because in the suites everybody gets stuff and you empty it down wherever you can.’

Swift’s impression on Ed remained inherent as the compliments kept coming. ‘She’s very smart. I mean, very. That comes through right away.’

Ed added: ‘I’m just thinking, I don’t think she got the diva memo. She didn’t get the spoiled musician. She doesn’t know how to pull that off. And that really to me said a whole lot.’

The Chiefs’ 31-17 win over the Chargers was the fourth game that Swift attended. Swift has previously been seen talking to Kelce’s mom Donna  at games as well as Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ wife Brittany.

Swift was spotted with Brittany once again with the duo seemingly having grown close, even creating their own special handshake, which they broke out after the Chiefs’ first touchdown to Marquez Valdes-Scantling.

The two new pals enjoyed soaking up the action together, breaking out into a little dance during the first half.

Swift, with a drink in hand, and Brittany, holding her 11-month-old baby boy, Bronze, in her arms, swayed from side to side as they bopped their heads in time with each other.

Swift and Kelce were seen leaving Arrowhead Stadium together after the Chiefs’ sixth consecutive win.

Kelce led the Chiefs in receiving yards and tallied a touchdown as defending Super Bowl champions move 6-1 this season.
