A proud Travis Kelce has gushed over Taylor Swift‘s ‘electric’ performance in Buenos Aires over the weekend – days after the Swifties spied her copying his use of his ‘favorite’ word.

The Chiefs star was reflecting on his weekend in Argentina on the latest episode of his New Heights podcast, which he hosts with his brother Jason.

‘The stadium was unbelievable,’ Kelce said. ‘I forget what it was called. Instead of people having seats, everybody knew they were gonna stand.

‘It was north of 65,000, like 70,000 three nights in a row. It’s crazy how many sold out shows she has and these venues that she’s keeps going to. I was blown away. It was an electric crowd too. It was fun, man.’

Then, in a later segment, Kelce was talking about missing a high-five with Taylor Swift’s dad Scott because he was so shocked she changed the lyrics in ‘Karma’ to reference him.

‘Ah Mr Swift I apologize big guy. I never miss a high-five, a big high-five guy. It’s the most electric thing you can do at an event. So sorry Mr Swift,’ he said.

On Monday, Swift herself took to Instagram to thank her fans that showed up in Argentina.

She wrote: ‘Starting off the South American leg of The Eras Tour in Argentina = best decision possible.

‘I can’t even express my gratitude to the Buenos Aires crowds. I’d never been to Argentina before and they gave us the most electric, magical memories.’

Her avid fanbase leapt on her use of ‘electric’ and insisted it was down to Travis’s influence.

‘Electric you say? Pretty sure that’s one of Travis’s fav words to use he says it at least once a podcast.. she seems to be already adopting some of his lingo,’ one fan wrote on X.

Another said: ”MOST ELECTRIC’ Travis influence – I have to laugh.’
