Brady opened up to his cohosts that when people talk about him they often say “I love Tom Brady, but.”

He said those buts are things he needs to work on in life.

“I’m probably a little OCD with different things in my life. I like trying to have things in control and stability,” Brady said.

The seven-time Super Bowl champ doesn’t shy away from his flaws though. He thinks it’s important to recognize them.

“I’m trying to learn more about myself every day,” he said.

Brady said owning up to his flaws is difficult, but it is an important skill to have in a world where it is easy to dodge responsibility from behind a screen.

“We should all have self-awareness, it’s a hard trait to have. We’re in a culture where it’s hard to own up to things these days,” Brady said.

He also attributed working on his flaws as a way to stay out of drama.

“For someone like me, I’m in the public eye a lot. I always try to say the right thing. I don’t want to deal with any more drama in my life. I already have a lot of drama,” he said.

Brady notably divorced his wife Gisele Bundchen in 2022, an ordeal that gained a huge amount of media attention and still does to this day.

The 46-year-old is working on ways to move on from that drama.

“I just shut up. I think that allows me to move on,” he said.
