Lawrence Taylor tells legendary quarterback why he would be regularly ejected in today’s NFL

NFL legend Tom Brady has gone on an expletive-filled rant against critics who claim he wasn’t a tough player.

The former New England Patriots quarterback made it clear in an NSFW tirade on his Let’s Go podcast that he got up every time he was sacked.

“Everyone thinks I was a p***y out there,” Brady told Hall of Famer Lawrence Taylor.

“I took every single [hit] and got my a** up!

“I never wanted a defensive player going home going, ‘I knocked the s**t out of him and he didn’t get up,’ so I made sure I got up.”

For all his achievements, Brady remains the league’s leader for most sacks ever with 565.

Taylor, the legendary New York Giants defensive stopper, could not believe this stat.

“I didn’t even realize that,” Taylor said.

“I didn’t think you got your pants dirty during the game.”

Taylor also said he admired Brady’s rushing skills, something he was not known for.

“You were a bad little runner for a white boy,” he joked.

“You had some great skills, man, and you should be very proud of what you done – no matter what.”

Taylor added that he would be regularly ejected if he played in today’s NFL.

“The game has changed a little bit, you know?” Taylor said.

“Just a couple weeks ago I saw a running back, [D’Andre Swift], get fined for trucking. What the hell is trucking?

“He got fined for running over the [defensive back]. I don’t understand that.

“The game has changed a little bit. I like the era that I played in because if I was playing nowadays, I probably wouldn’t last the game.”

Last month, Brady gave a brutal assessment of the modern-day NFL while on The Stephen A. Smith Show.

“I think there’s a lot of mediocrity in today’s NFL. I don’t see the excellence I saw in the past,” he said to Smith.

“I think the coaching isn’t as good as it was, I don’t think the development is as good as it was.

“The rules have allowed a lot of bad habits to get into the actual performance of the game.

“I just think the product, in my opinion, is less than what it has been.”
