Tom Brady and ex-wife Gisele Bundchen announced their divorce almost a year ago, but it appears the split is still on the former quarterback’s mind.
The pair came forward with the official news of their separation on October 28 of last year – 13 years after they had married.
And in speaking on his ‘Let’s Go!’ podcast this week, the former Patriots and Bucs passer admitted he’d dealt with ‘a lot of drama.’
‘We should all have self-awareness, it’s a hard trait to have. We’re in a culture where it’s hard to own up to things these days,’ he said.
‘For someone like me, I’m in the public eye a lot. I always try to say the right thing. I don’t want to deal with any more drama in my life. I already have a lot of drama.’

Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen determined that their marriage was ‘irretrievably broken.’

Brady and Bundchen announced they had split after 13 years of marriage in October

Brady, seen after Super Bowl LV, had two kids with Bundchen (Vivian, left, and Benjamin, right)
Brady initially retired in February 2022 before reversing course and deciding to play one more season with the Buccaneers.
And that, according to People, put a ‘strain’ on his marriage with Bundchen.
‘Gisele is frustrated and sick of his career coming before their family, who has always supported him,’ a source told the outlet.
In divorce filings, the marriage was determined to be ‘irretrievably broken.’
Brady, who has since been linked to model Irina Shayk, said on Instagram at the time, ‘We arrived at this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together.

‘We are blessed with beautiful and wonderful children who will continue to be the center of our world in every way. We will continue to work together as parents to always ensure they receive the love and attention they deserve.’
Brady and Bundchen share children Benjamin, 13, and Vivian, 10 together, while Brady also has a 16-year-old, Jack, with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynihan.
Since retiring, Brady has agreed deals to purchase stakes in the Las Vegas Aces and the Las Vegas Raiders, though the latter deal is reportedly stalled.
