Hollywood stars Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt worked together in 2016’s Passengers. The sci-fi romance movie was a massive success and it kicked off a lifelong friendship between the two stars, however, they once took things too far by mercilessly insulting each other in a friendly roasting session.

Pratt might’ve hurt the sentiments of many X-Men fans as he claimed that Lawrence worked in the “stupidest Marvel movie.” Lawrence appeared as Raven Darkhölme / Mystique in X-Men prequel films, X-Men: First Class (2011), X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014) and X-Men: Apocalypse (2016). Both the stars didn’t hold back with their stingy insults.

In 2016, Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt appeared on BBC Radio’s show Playground Insults in order to roast each other with mean insults. During the roast session, Pratt asked Lawrence,
“How does it feel being in the stupidest Marvel movie?”
Lawrence is well-known for playing Raven Darkhölme / Mystique in the X-Men prequel films, which consisted of X-Men: First Class (2011), X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014) and X-Men: Apocalypse (2016). This insult did not sit well with some fans as Pratt was later decimated by them on social media.

Later in the roasting session, Lawrence claimed that she had to take “two Pepto-Bismol” before their s*x scene in 2016’s Passengers. Pratt then took things too far by saying,
“During our s*x scene, I felt your d*ck rubbing into mine.”
This insult instantly ended the game as the hosts claimed that it got too dark. Pratt then said he could feel his heart beating so fast because of the roast.

In 2015, Lawrence talked about their s*x scene in 2016’s Passengers. The actress told the Mirror that she felt really guilty because Pratt was married to Anna Faris at the time,
“It was weird. And everything was done right; nobody did anything wrong. It’s just a bizarre experience. But then that led to more anxiety when I got home because I was like, ‘What have I done? I don’t know.’ And he was married,” adding, “It was going to be my first time kissing a married man, and guilt is the worst feeling in your stomach. And I knew it was my job, but I couldn’t tell my stomach that.”
Two years later, Pratt’s marriage with Faris came to an end, and rumors claimed that it was his on-set relationship with Lawrence that ended the marriage. The rumors were quickly shut down by the actress herself.

Director Morten Tyldum’s 2016 movie Passengers received mixed reviews from the audience at the time of its release. The sci-fi romance grossed roughly $304 million at the global box office on a production budget of $110-150 million. Passengers (2016) can be rented or purchased on Amazon Prime Video.
