THE Taylor Swift-Travis Kelce romance has taken both the music and sports worlds by storm since their relationship became public in September.

Fans of 12-time Grammy Award winner Swift, 33, and two-time Super Bowl champ Kelce, 34, continue to fawn over every aspect of their romance.

While some have questioned whether or not their relationship is authentic, a PR expert has weighed in on the very public romance.

Eric Schiffer, chairman of the Los Angeles-based firm Reputation Management Consultants, spoke exclusively to The U.S. Sun about Kelce and Swift, saying their relationship is “absolutely real.”

“This is not a PR stunt they’ve concocted to hoodwink the public, but rather it’s a modern-day Disney-like romance that involves a football star with charisma and a megastar music icon that has a character that makes young people look up to,” Schiffer said.

“And they’re falling in love in front of our eyes in a way that’s both magical and able to navigate the intense scrutiny that comes with being in the media spotlight.”

As Schiffer said, the high-profile nature of their romance has given way to a frenzy of media attention.

Swift has been spotted at multiple Kansas City Chiefs games cheering for Kelce, and he was recently spotted at one of her concerts in Argentina.

In fact, Swift even altered the lyrics of one of her songs at that Eras Tour concert in Buenos Aires to reflect their relationship, singing: “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs coming straight home to me.”

‘TRADEMARK CONTROL’

As their love seemingly continues to blossom, Schiffer also spoke about how both could be cashing in on the very public relationship.

Kelce recently filed for five trademarks in his home state of Ohio.

The five names and phrases include “Travis Kelce,” “Flight 87,” “Alright Nah,” “KillaTrav,” and “Kelce’s Krunch.”

“For all we know this is Taylor coaching Travis on how to monetize because this is someone who likes to uplift her partners,” Schiffer said.

“So this may have come from her. But this also allows Travis to have greater control from people who are trying to hijack his brand to benefit from the Taylor star that’s shining on it.

“He can shut down a lot of things if he has trademark control.”

In addition, sales of Kelce’s NFL jersey have skyrocketed in recent weeks.

Following Swift’s appearance at a late September Chiefs game, sales of Kelce’s jersey jumped by nearly 400%, sports merchandise company Fanatics reported.

‘MET HER MATCH’

Overall, Schiffer thinks this romance is the real deal and that Kelce is handling the media frenzy beautifully.

“He’s got natural charisma, he’s sophisticated in the workings of the media,” Schiffer said.

“He doesn’t take any of it too seriously. He’s playing a conservative game with the media in that he’s allowing them to get a little taste but he’s created a boundary that’s respectful, in part because of his relationship with Taylor, but also, I think, to protect his family.”

As their romance has heated up and gained significant media attention, there’s also negativity and backlash for the duo to deal with.

Schiffer said that can be tough for an individual and his family who aren’t accustomed to Swift’s scale of celebrity.

And while she might be used to it, it could still be a culture shock if the family doesn’t want the influx of attention.

Still, Schiffer sees the potential staying power of the relationship.

He said: “I expect that this will continue and that Taylor may have met her match.”
