A claim that began as playful banter from Taylor Swift‘s fanbase is becoming harder and harder to deny.

Swift’s new romance with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has consistently headlined stories since September.

While Swift ‘putting Kelce on the map,’ is questionable considering Kelce’s success in the NFL, recent data holds the claim true in aspects outside football.

British gaming site Amazon Slots used data from SocialBlade to compare Kelce’s social media numbers before and after his relationship with the pop star went public. One month after Swift first appeared at a Chiefs game to support Kelce, the Kansas City star has gained 1,622,160 followers on Instagram.

‘Taylor Swift’s impact is undeniable,’ a spokesperson from Amazon Slots commented. ‘Her music has generated billions of dollars in revenue, and her concerts consistently sell out stadiums worldwide. Moreover, Swift’s immense popularity has not only elevated her own brand but has also resulted in a significant boost in merchandise sales for the brands and individuals she is associated with.’

Kelce is not the only beneficiary of Swift’s presence at Chiefs games. The Chiefs and the NFL have also experienced significant increases in social media numbers and viewership from an overflow of Swifties tuning in to games.

Earlier in October, Averagebeing’s data reported that the Chiefs Instagram page gains an average of 18,383 new followers with each Swift appearance. Meanwhile the NFL gains 12,893 Instagram followers on average from Swift’s cameos.

After Swift first appeared in a game against the Chicago Bears on September 4, fans flooded the broadcast of Chiefs’ game the week after. As a result, the Week 4 matchup against the New York Jets became the most viewed game since Super Bowl LVII due to a spike of female viewers.

On October 15, a fan handed Kelce a friendship bracelet that said ‘on the map’ while the 34-year-old watched his brother Jason and the Philadelphia Eagles play the Jets at MetLife Stadium. This act made Kelce and company laugh as he thanked the fan for the present.

‘It is fascinating to observe the remarkable surge in followers and the unprecedented spike in sales of Kelce’s jerseys since his association with Swift,’ the Amazon Slots spokesperson added. ‘It is evident that her fans do not only support her music but are also invested in her personal life, eagerly hoping that the pop star finds her well-deserved happy ending.’
