The organization has since waived him to make way for running back Chris Brooks, who was previously on injured reserve.

Pierre-Paul played in just two games for the Dolphins, appearing in 13 total defensive snaps.

A former first-round pick, the two-time Super Bowl champion has struggled for game time since leaving the Baltimore Ravens in 2022.

The three-time Pro Bowler signed with the Dolphins in late November after leaving the New Orleans Saints.

And fans were quick to speculate on where the veteran’s next landing spot could be.

One wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter: “Dolphin fans told us he was their missing piece..”

A second said: “Coming back to the Bucs.”

While another added: “Eagles will add him to their retirement home soon.”

And a fourth commented: “Steelers pick him up.”

Pierre-Paul was selected as the No. 15 overall pick by the New York Giants in 2010.

He had been a standout college star for the University of South Florida and agreed a five-year, $20.05 million rookie deal with the Giants.

The 6-foot-5 linebacker became a key part of the Giants defense, winning a Super Bowl ring in his second season at MetLife.

He was traded to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2018, winning a second Championship two years later alongside Tom Brady.

Since making his NFL debut 13 years ago, Pierre-Paul has made 631 total tackles.

He has also racked up 94.5 sacks and forced 21 fumbles, with 10 recovered.

Per Spotrac, his career earnings add up to an impressive $103,983,333.
