Kris Abrams-Draine knew he had a towel somewhere in his pants but it suddenly disappeared during a bowl game.

The Missouri cornerback was in the middle of competing in the 88th Cotton Bowl Classic against the Ohio State Buckeyes when a tackle he made out of bounds led to his towe being ripped away from him.

It is alleged that Ryan Day’s son, RJ, was involved in that incident as you can see a player on the sidelines in sweats snatch a towel before turning away.

Missouri would get the last laugh on this day.

With true freshman Lincoln Kienholz playing most of the game at quarterback after Kyle McCord’s transfer to Syracuse and Marvin Harrison Jr. sitting out as he heads to the NFL, Ohio State’s offense never got anything going and it resulted in a 14-3 loss for the Buckeyes against No. 9 Missouri in the Cotton Bowl.

Missouri’s offense was able to make enough plays down the stretch to lead the Tigers to a victory, handing the Buckeyes their second straight defeat after they won their first 11 games of the year.

It was such a salty way to end a promising season.

It was the lowest-scoring game for Ohio State since its 31-0 Fiesta Bowl loss to Clemson to end the 2016 season.
