SHOCKED fans have claimed that a TV favourite “looks just like young Britney Spears” in unearthed childhood pictures.

With pretty features, long blonde hair with a ’90s fringe, and a girly pink dress, the star holds a striking resemblance to Britney when she first burst onto the scene.

It’s just one of the throwbacks that 38-year-old Katie Piper shared to her Instagram page this evening, in a post simply captioned: “Throwback to baby Piper!”

She is standing with her mum in the first snap, and this is the one that had followers floored, with one commenting: “First photo looks like Britney Spears!!”

Another agreed: “I thought that was Britney’s post to start with!”

A third wrote: “Yep, twins!”

One more echoed: “I though this too!!”

Another photo showed Katie as a toddler, her blonde hair styled into a bowl cut as she smiles at the camera.

In a third pic, she is sitting on a relative’s lap while on holiday, grinning in a sunhat and summer dress.

Katie appeared to be a bit older in the final snap, with her thick blonde hair loose and straight, her fringe falling into her eyes.

She is wearing a simple white vest top over a checked skirt, and is gazing down at the camera in a garden.

HOSPITAL DASH

Earlier this month, Katie revealed that she was rushed to hospital for an emergency operation after choking on some food.

The beauty posted from her hospital bed as she thanked the NHS for saving her.

The mother-of-two has had several procedures on her throat, as well as the rest of her body, throughout the years as she suffered life-changing injuries when she was the victim of an acid attack in 2008.

She has undergone over 400 operations since, including skin grafts, after major damage to her face and blindness in one eye.

Katie’s vile assault was organised by her ex-boyfriend Daniel Lynch, but carried out by Stefan Sylvestre.

Daniel was given two life terms behind bars, with Stefan serving six years before being released in 2018.

However, he was re-admitted in November 2019 for a string of car thefts before going free again in June 2020.

Since the attack Katie has undergone pioneering surgery to restore her face and vision.

She went on to find love with Richard Sutton, who she married in 2015, and the pair share two daughters together; seven-year-old Belle and three-year-old Penelope.
