TOM Brady remains a serial winner – even after his retirement from the NFL.

The seven-time Super Bowl winner, 46, is the minority owner of WNBA champions the Las Vegas Aces.

Brady’s part ownership of the organization was passed by the WNBA just over two weeks ago.

News of his investment was first reported in March, with official confirmation arriving on October 2.

Just weeks later, fans are jokingly referring to the “Brady effect” as the Aces won their second-straight WNBA title.

The Aces clinched the championship following a dramatic 70-69 win over the New York Liberty at Barclays Center on Wednesday.

It cemented a 3-1 series win in the WNBA Finals, with the Aces joining the Houston Comets and the Los Angeles Sparks as the only teams to go back to back.

Team owner Mark Davis – who also owns the Las Vegas Raiders – danced on the Brooklyn court in delight following the comeback win.

One fan commented on X, formerly known as Twitter: “It truly is the Brady Effect, man is a walking legend.”

Another said: “October 2nd: Tom Brady is officially approved as an owner of the Las Vegas Ace. October 18th: Las Vegas wins the WNBA championship. Tom Brady stays winning.”

A third added: “The team and the performance was worthy of the championship.”

Trailing at one stage by 12 points, the Aces stormed back thanks to 24 points and 16 rebounds from Finals MVP A’ja Wilson.

Since retiring in February, Brady has been hard at work making shrewd business deals across the world of sports.

As well as the Aces, he has applied to invest in the Raiders and is now a part-owner of English soccer club Birmingham City.

The three-time NFL MVP signed a $375million, 10-year deal with Fox Sports last summer.

It means the former New England Patriot will step into the commentary booth for the 2024 NFL season.

Following his investment in the Aces, Brady said: “I am very excited to be part of the Las Vegas Aces organization.

“My love for women’s sports began at a young age when I would tag along to all my older sisters’ games.

“They were by far the best athletes in our house! We celebrated their accomplishments together as a family, and they remain a great inspiration to me.

“I have always been a huge fan of women’s sports, and I admire the work that the Aces’ players, staff, and the WNBA continue to do to grow the sport and empower future generations of athletes.

“To be able to contribute in any way to that mission as a member of the Aces organization is an incredible honor.”
