As it turns out, most dads, Brads and Chads think it’s a good thing that superstar singer Taylor Swift has started attending NFL games.

Some fans have groused about the television coverage given to Swift at Chiefs games when she cheers on boyfriend, tight end Travis Kelce. In an interview earlier this month with Time magazine, Swift said she has no clue how often TV cameras are focused on her during a game.

“I’m just there to support Travis,” Swift told Time magazine. “I have no awareness of if I’m being shown too much and pissing off a few dads, Brads, and Chads.”

Not to worry, Taylor. Not many people are upset at her presence at Chiefs games.

Taylor Swift NFL Ratings NBC Kansas City Chief New York Jets – Deadline

A Marist Poll of 1,135 people across the nation found 70% believe Swift has had a positive impact on the NFL. That includes 71% of football fans, the survey said.

Just 24% believe Swift’s impact on the NFL is negative, Marist’s study found, while 6% were unsure.

“There’s no ‘bad blood’ between Americans and Taylor Swift. Her favorability rating is at a level that elected officials can only dream of reaching,” Stephanie Calvano, director of data science and technology at the Marist Institute for Public Opinion, said in a news release.

“As Time magazine’s person of the year, Swift’s influence on the entertainment industry has been long documented. So, it’s not surprising that she would be just as impactful for the NFL.”

More women (75%) than men (64%) said Swift has had a positive impact on the NFL, the pollmakers said.

And 80% of people who identified themselves as Swift’s fans (aka “Swifties”) said they see her positively influencing the NFL.

Fans should be prepared to see more of Swift in the near future.

The New York Post reported she is expected to be at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium for the Chiefs’ Christmas Day game against the Raiders and the New Year’s Eve meeting with the Bengals.
