Feuding exes, a Barbie actor, a father-of-two and a former TOWIE star are amongst the rumoured line-up for Love Island All Stars.

The spin-off series, kicks off on January 15, with host Maya Jama once again at the helm.

12 contestants from the past 10 series have been handpicked by ITV2 bosses to head to the South African villa in their quest to find love once more.

But with exes Liberty Poole and Jake Cornish and former flames Kaz Kamwi and Toby Aromolaran set to come face to face, it could prove to be the most explosive series yet.

Chris Taylor has signed up to appear on the new Love Island: All Stars series.

The former Islander will be looking to find romance for a second time after meeting ex-girlfriend Maura Higgins, 33, when they both starred on the ITV2 show in 2019.

Maura dated co-star Curtis Pritchard, 27, before her friendship with Chris blossomed into a relationship, but the couple split in May 2021 after six months together.

While Chris, 33, hasn’t gone public with a girlfriend since Maura, the star’s career has gone from strength to strength, and he even landed a part in last year’s Barbie movie thanks to Oscar winner Margot Robbie‘s fascination with Love Island.

The TikTok star played one of multiple Kens alongside the likes of Doctor Who actor Ncuti Gatwa, 31, and Simu Liu, 34, as well as Ryan Gosling, 43, in the starring role.

Georgia Harrison

The reality star, 29, first appeared on the show in 2017, but since then has been a key campaigner to change the law on revenge porn after her ex boyfriend Stephen Bear was convicted of sharing a video of them having sex which he had secretly filmed on CCTV.

A TV source revealed ITV have signed up the star for their anticipated All Stars series, which kicks off this month.

The television personality, 24, rose to fame on the ITV show on the seventh series in 2021 before going on the first season of Love Island Games in the US last year.

On day one of her Love Island series in 2021, she coupled-up with Jake Cornish and became a favourite with show fans.

But she decided to leave the villa when she saw a clip of Jake saying he wasn’t attracted to her.

A source told The Sun: ‘Love comes in many forms and the show has always enforced that – always celebrating friendships and personal progression too.

‘Liberty became the poster girl for self love when she ditched Jake and chose her dignity instead – it was a huge TV moment back then and fans will be thrilled to see her thriving and back in the villa.’

During the dating programme Jake, 26, admitted he had struggled with Liberty’s ‘messy habits’ and Brummie accent, but was left heartbroken after the split as he had only been in one serious relationship before the contest.

As there seven-week romance panned out during the series the couple were favourites to win, but their romance quickly took a turn for the worse as producers played clips of early conversations during ‘Movie Night.’

Liberty learned that Jake had previously said to the boys: ‘It’s just not that 100 per cent where I look at her and go, I haven’t got the girl there where I’m like f*** me I want to rip your clothes off.

‘I don’t want to fake any s*** you know what I mean? I don’t want to say I really do like her when I don’t, I’d be lying to myself.’

In the shocking break up scenes that followed, Liberty confronted Jake and also brought up his about his past comments on her appearance and ‘messy habits’.

Viewers saw Liberty tell Jake: ‘I just don’t feel like you love me for me and I want someone who loves me for me.’

However in an interview with MailOnline in December 2022, Anton confessed there are days where he ‘regrets’ applying for Love Island after being dogged by cosmetic surgery accusations by online trolls.

Michel was dropped by his management company just two months after leaving the villa as he faced accusations of homophobic behaviour at an awards ceremony.

How did the Barbie Movie come about? I was invited to an afterparty by Margot Robbie and then ended up at an after party with her. I started to panic and make conversation with her, just having really stupid chats. All I can assume is that my silly chat made an impression on Margot Robbie. 18 months later I got an email from Warner Brothers asking do you want to try out for this role as Ken – it was a tumble dryer of emotions.

Why are you returning to the Love Island villa? I think I went in with my heart on my sleeve the first time and got hurt and this time I am just going in to enjoy myself and if a connection happens, a connection happens.

In the summer you were given the name ‘Messy Mitch’, and a name that you have taken on as your own,  can we expect more of the same in the series? I’ll be honest, I don’t really plan on being ‘Messy Mitch’. It just depends on what day of the week it is. I wear my emotions on my sleeve and what you see is what you get. I am very honest and very opinionated and I think that’s what people like me for. If I don’t agree with something, I’m not going to hold it back.
