The movie will be centered on a soon-to-be-married couple and their respective families as they attempt to protect themselves from mercenaries while attending a destination wedding.

Filming was initially set to begin in 2019, although production was later pushed to February of 2021, and the project’s crew wrapped that April.

Both Shotgun Wedding and The Mother are expected to be released at unspecified dates later this year.
