NFL legend Tom Brady proved he’s still got it as he effortlessly hit the target on his first attempt.

The 45-year-old was continuing to enjoy retirement as he enjoyed a day on a luxury yacht with two of his children.

But it wasn’t as relaxing as it may seem as the former quarterback just can’t seem to put the football down.

The seven-time Super Bowl winner proved why he won all of those rings by accepting a challenge from American YouTuber MrBeast.

In a clip shared by the NFL, Brady attempted to knock one of MrBeast’s drones down into the sea from the deck of the yacht.

Brady could be seen warming up his winning throwing arm before his daughter Vivian jokingly told him, ‘Dad, you’re like going to miss.’

The NFL icon laughed, admitting he probably would but had clearly caught the footballing bug again as he then joked to camera that if he did hit the drone on the first try then ‘maybe I should come out of retirement.

And of course, Brady did just that. He launched a rocket of a throw out over the sea towards where the drone was hovering, hitting the target bang on allegedly on the first attempt.

For his next trick, Brady attempted to complete a pass to a man racing towards the yacht on a jet ski.

Once again, Brady was on target but his ‘wide receiver’ wasn’t up to the standards the signal caller was used to in the NFL and dropped the ball into the water.

Brady has previously made headlines with drones, dividing social media with his golf skills.

The GOAT published a video of a stunning golf shot, captured by a drone, on social media last May which immediately saw sceptics among his 3million followers labelling the video as ‘fake’ and ‘clickbait’.

Brady, who has been accused by his fans in the past of staging videos, was stood on the fairway in this scene, before rifling a shot towards the pin before getting it to go straight in.

Many fans were skeptical the shot was real, insisting it was staged but Brady claimed it was in fact real, telling The Athletic that it was a ‘once-in-a-lifetime shot.’

Since retiring for the second time in February, Brady has repeatedly shut down reports of him performing a U-turn again.

Brady has since become a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders but a source told Dailymail.com that he still has an itch to play, even if it’s one he cannot scratch.

‘Tom misses football, loves playing, and would love nothing more than to compete again on the grandest stage and win another Super Bowl. But as amazing as those thoughts sound, he has made the decision to retire from the NFL once and for all,’ the source told Mail Sport.

‘He now has an ownership stake with the Raiders, and though he is very familiar with the coaching staff in Las Vegas, and the fact that the Super Bowl would be played in Vegas this upcoming season, at this time it is very unlikely and close to impossible that Tom would come back to play for the Raiders or any NFL team this upcoming year.

‘Currently in his mind, his other ventures in entertainment and entrepreneurial efforts and also the fact he will be a future play-by-play announcer for FOX are really taking up all his time.’

Brady is set to step into the broadcast booth with FOX – who he signed a $375million deal with – in the fall of 2024, while he also owns an eponymous apparel brand, Brady Brand.

Furthermore, Brady also has his own fitness and nutrition brand, TB12, and started production company 199 Productions in 2020.

Of course, Brady has also been able to spend more time with his family since hanging his cleats up.

While Brady and ex-wife Gisele Bundchen divorced last year – possibly because of his un-retirement from the sport, according to some reports – the former quarterback has three kids (two with Bundchen) and plenty more hours to see them now.

Brady had Vivian and 13-year-old son Benjamin Rein during his 13-year marriage to the CAA Fashion model, and their divorce was finalized on October 28.

The seven-time Super Bowl champ also fathered 15-year-old son John Edward Thomas aka ‘Jack’ from his two-year relationship with Bridget Moynahan, which ended in 2006.

Last month, he and his youngest child Vivian were spotted on a cruise in his $6M 77-foot Wajer yacht in Miami.

The NoCal native appeared to be looking at his phone as his 10-year-old princess perused the on-board snacks and lemonade on the fancy boat, which sleeps nine people and boasts a 400-nautical-mile range.

Tom also reportedly owns a 40ft ‘Viva a Vida’ yacht docked at his $17M 14K-square-foot, eight-bedroom mansion on Miami’s ‘Billionaire Bunker’ Indian Creek Island in Florida.

The retired 6-foot-4 quarterback recently posted a side-by-side shot of himself and his eldest son, Jack, who appears to be only a few inches shorter than his father.

‘Not Yet Kid!!!’ the 45-year-old Brady captioned his Instagram post. ‘I’m still here.’

Brady’s eldest has followed him into football, although not at the urging of the future Hall of Famer.

As Brady told ESPN’s Outside the Lines last week, he hopes Jack finds happiness away from the game, which naturally comes with some oversized expectations when your father is a seven-time Super Bowl winner.

‘I hope he finds the things in his life that allow him to get up every day to be internally motivated to work hard at something that he loves to do,’ Brady said . ‘I don’t think football. Look, a lot of it I wouldn’t choose for him to do that because there’s too many crazy expectations that people would put on him.

‘Most of them probably very unfair actually. So whatever path he chooses in his life, my son Benny, my daughter Vivi, whatever they choose, I’m there to support them.’
