Awe, we love to see it! Bronx femcee Cardi B is offering rapper and reality TV star Chrisean Rock some valuable mommy advice. The two-time mom tells the new mom not to ignore any of the postpartum signs that come along with giving brith, and reminds her to take her “me time.”

Cardi B Offers Chrisean Rock Mommy Advice: Dont Ignore Postpartum Signs, Take Your Me Time

While outside in New York City promoting her and Megan Thee Stallion‘s new song “Bongos,” Cardi was caught signing autographs and taking photos with fans. During the commotion, TMZ caught up with her and asked her if she had any motherly advice for the new boy mom Chrisean, who recently gave birth to her first child with ex-boyfriend and Los Angeles rapper Blueface.

Giving Chrisean some mommy advice, Cardi said, “What I would advise is that whenever you start to feel emotional, that means, you might not think it’s postpartum, but it’s postpartum. So when that happens, go outside, take a breather, go drink some coffee, go eat some lunch on your own.. When you’re, like, a new mom, your new schedule overwhelms you. So, just do something that, you know, calms you down, and that’s peaceful.”

As we’ve previously reported, Chrisean welcomed her newborn son, named after her (Chrisean Malone, Jr.), with her ex Blueface one week ago on Sunday, September 3. While Chrisean and Blueface have had a rocky relationship in the past up until giving birth, their drama has even continued past that. Social media has the good, bad and ugly with this relationship, but in all of the madness, Cardi B, like many others online, are sending good wishes and advice to Chrisean as she navigates motherhood for the first time.

During the impromptu interview, Cardi B also addressed the criticism that she and Megan have been receiving over their new song “Bongos.” Cardi said, “I’ll say, it will have to grow on you. I’m a trendsetter. I have to do things different. I love Funk music, and when I love something, I have to incorporate it together with my sound, with Hip-Hop. I love Funk. I love Dembow. I cannot do Trap beats, I cannot talk about fighting b*tches, I cannot talk about all these things all the time. I can do everything.”

Cardi B continued to tell the critics to keep an open mind and palette for new music and cultures. She said, “Get to know new cultures, and don’t be ignorant either. Because the beat [on “Bongos” is from] somebody else’s culture, and you wouldn’t want somebody to disrespect your culture. So don’t disrespect someone else’s culture.”
