Taylor Swift caused a total fan frenzy as she shutdown The Grove shopping center in Los Angeles to host an epic premiere for her highly-anticipated Eras Tour concert film on Wednesday night.

The 12-time Grammy winner, 33, ‘handpicked’ 2,200 of her biggest ‘Swifties’ to get a first-look at the concert footage on the big screen.

Swift was the epitome of chic as she posed on the red carpet in a blue $12,000 Oscar de la Renta gown before taking her seat inside one of 14 sold-out screening rooms inside the outdoor mall’s AMC movie theater.

And if one superstar weren’t enough, Beyonce — who will also be releasing a concert film this year — showed out in support of Swift, who she posed for photos with after the screening.

Swift’s film documents one of the six sold-out shows Swift performed at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California over the summer as part of her ongoing Eras Tour, which kicked off in March and serves as a retrospective of her 17-year career.

It has already amassed a whopping $100million in presale tickets alone and will be available to watch exclusively at AMC Theatres starting Friday, October 13.

Missing from the fan-packed action was Swift’s rumored beau Travis Kelce, 34, as the Kansas City Chiefs tight end is scheduled to play the Denver Broncos on Thursday at his team’s home stadium. But a source told TMZ that Swift will be in the stands cheering on the NFL hunk during the big game in Missouri.

An insider at the event tells DailyMail.com: ‘The fans went crazy the second [Taylor] arrived, screaming and chanting her name.

‘Taylor was in really high spirits and was so thrilled to see so many of her fans turn out for the night. She looked like she was having the best time ever.’

Another source dished that ‘the Swifies went all out’ as ‘lots were dressed up as her from iconic music videos and were having the time of their lives.’

They added that Taylor brought along members of her band and back-up dancers to the event.

The Cruel Summer singer teamed her powder blue dress with a pair of open-toed heels that gave her already statuesque frame a boost.

Swift rocked bold blue eyeshadow paired with her signature ruby red lip and cateye flick combo.

She accessorized with a dazzling diamond choker necklace and matching earrings for the monumental occasion.

The Lover singer’s dirty blonde curls were worn in a chic faux bob that hugged her chiseled jawline.

Meanwhile, Beyonce oozed sex appeal in a silver chrome breast plate styled with a skintight black catsuit.

The Crazy In Love singer, 42, rocked futuristic shades and wore her golden brown hair in a fabulous high ponytail.

The mother-of-three completed her sexy look with chunky black Naked Wolfe boots.

Beyonce and Taylor have shown public support for one another in the years following Kanye West’s infamous stage takeover at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2009, where he interrupted Taylor’s Video Of The Year acceptance speech to declare Beyonce as the ‘true’ winner.

Swift has credited Beyonce for having ‘paved the road that every female artist is walking down now,’ while Beyonce praised Taylor in 2021 for ‘always being so supportive’ of her.

Ahead of Wednesday’s screening, Swift spoke to the sea of fans that filled the movie theater about how ‘special’ it was to ‘capture the memories of this tour.’

She also revealed that she’d personally selected each of the 2,200 fans in attendance.

You’ve all been handpicked to be at this premiere, did you know that?’ said the hitmaker as she stood at the front of the theater in front of the big screen. ‘Ok good I’m glad that’s not weird for you because i do like to watch what you guys are up to.

‘This tour and this amazing capturing of the moment and the memories that was this tour in the US… it’s still going it’s not past tense, we’re still doing it,’ she continued.

‘The capturing of the memories of this tour it was so special because of what you brought to it, you’re passion, your sense of humor, your attention to detail, the amount that you prepared for it the amount that you cared about it.

‘That is what i hope you get from this – how much you brought this tour to life.’

Swift gushed that she is ‘so proud of the band and dancers and everyone who went on stage and gave 100 per cent no matter what they were going through in their lives – in sickness and in health – we did our show.

‘But the reason we were able to is because of what we knew we were walking out and getting to dance with and look at and sing with, which was you.

She then thanked her devout fans for ‘wanting to be here on this really, really, really unbelievably special night’ and for ‘doing all the extra stuff that you did that made us notice you to invite you to this.

‘I see you, I love you, I hope you like it!’ the Cardigan singer concluded.

Swift wasn’t the only one who got gussied up for Wednesday’s big premiere in the City Of Angels.

It proved to be a star-studded function as the likes of Flavor Flav, Mariska Hargitay, Maren Morris, Molly Sims, Simu Liu,  Jenna Davis and Violet McGraw hit the red carpet.

Flavor Flav — who has been a vocal supportive of Swift’s and attended one of her Eras Tour stops this year — oozed confidence on the red carpet rocking one of his signature clock chains among other shiny pieces of jewelry.

Mariska famously appeared in Swift’s Grammy Award-winning music video for her hit Bad Blood in 2015, which also snagged Video Of The Year at the MTV VMAs among other awards.

She played the role of villainess ‘Justice’ alongside the likes of Cara Delevingne, Selena Gomez and Karlie Kloss.

She was photographed Wednesday hugging fans inside the theater and snapping some photos of her own of the epic merchandise and decor.

Ahead of her arrival, Swift shared her excitement and announced that the ‘unprecedented demand’ for tickets has led to an on slot of ‘early access showings’ starting Thursday in the U.S. and Canada.

‘We’re also adding additional showtimes Friday and throughout the weekend. All tickets will be available by 10am tomorrow morning. And it’ll be showing starting Friday in 90 countries all over the world,’ the star continued.

She went on to thank her devout fans and teased that she was already ‘in the car’ en route to the big premiere in LA.

‘I can’t thank you enough for wanting to see this film that so vividly captures my favorite adventure I’ve ever been a part of: The Eras Tour. And the best part is, it’s an adventure we’re still on together. Getting in the car now…’ she wrote.

Swift included a picture of herself in her Oscar de la Renta gown taken from the waist up with her post.

Eagle-eyed fans noticed that Swift was posing with a reusable tumbler decked out with the Eras Tour poster — suggesting that the cup may be given out to event attendees.

The Grove began preparations for Swift’s grand arrival earlier in the day, including setting up a massive red carpet surrounding the theater and a step-and-repeat backdrop, featuring the official Eras Tour poster.

At of an abundance of caution ‘there are hundreds of security guards in place to prevent chaos from erupting,’ as reported by TMZ.

A source originally told the outlet that Swift could ‘get pulled if any security issues arise’ or ‘The Grove becomes overwhelmed’ by Swifties.

Another insider added that out of an abundance of caution ‘there are hundreds of security guards in place to prevent chaos from erupting.’

The upscale shopping oasis, that includes a large AMC movie theater, will be closed for the entirety of Wednesday to accommodate the high-profile premiere.

The pop superstar has already surpassed $100 million in ticket presales for the film, so there will certainly be plenty of fans clamoring to get into the world premiere screening.

The AMC theater at The Grove will be reportedly devoting all 14 of its screens to showing the musical documentary, and the venue will be hosting 2,200 of the luckiest Swifties on the planet.

According to TMZ, fans received invitations to the premiere via Taylor’s team, though it’s unclear what criteria was used to select or invite them.

The invited fans are still in the dark about the details, and they reportedly won’t be told where to show up and when to arrive until 2 p.m. on the day of.

The premiere’s red carpet guests will make their way to The Grove at 6 p.m. on Wednesday evening, and the film is slated to start around 7 p.m.

LAPD officers and firefighters will also be in force on Wednesday to ensure that no one sneaks onto the property without a ticket, though they’ll have a large chunk of real estate to patrol.

Eras Tour: The film documents one of the six sold-out shows Swift performed at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California over the summer

Eras Tour: The film documents one of the six sold-out shows Swift performed at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California over the summer

Although it was originally unclear if Taylor would be in attendance, the sheer amount of forces needed to close down the enormous outdoor mall and to patrol it suggested that the hitmaker would drop by.

Although the AMC theater will be making bank thanks to its sold-out theaters, other smaller business will be missing out on customers after being forced to close for all of Wednesday.

However, Rick Caruso, the mall’s owner, will reportedly be compensating shops for lost business, though it’s unclear how much he’ll be paying and if it varies based on the stores’ regular amount of business.

Taylor already has $100 million in presales in the bank, but some analysts think her concert film could have an opening-weekend gross greater than the Barbie movie’s $162 million, though it won’t approach that movies stunning $1.43 billion grosses.

The film was a major coup for AMC. Taylor made the unusual move of negotiating directly with the theater chain to have it serve as her film’s distributor — skipping the usual middle man — after she and her family became frustrated with the demands of distributors she had been working with.

All AMC theaters in the US will be showing the documentary when it debuts on Friday, and AMC has also been working out contracts with rival theater chains to allow them to show the film as well.

The movie also isn’t eligible for AMC’s A-list subscription plan, and the tickets are more expensive than usual, meaning that the theater chain — and Taylor — will be making an even bigger pile of cash than usual.
