star Immanuel Quickley appeared to be left stunned after news broke that he was being traded to the Toronto Raptors.

It was reported Saturday that the Knicks and the Raptors had reached an agreement on a blockbuster trade that sees forwards OG Anunoby and Precious Achiuwa and guard Malachi Flynn head to New York in exchange for guards RJ Barrett and Quickley, plus a second round pick.

Just minutes after the news broke, Quickley took to social media, seemingly shocked at the trade.

The 24-year-old has an immediate reaction, tweeting: ‘Oh my goodness….’

Meanwhile his teammate Josh Hart, who is staying in New York, also appeared surprised.

The 24-year-old guard immediately took to social media to share his reaction with fans

‘What I wake up to,’ the Knicks shooting guard posted.

Knicks fans were equally taken aback as many flooded the replies to his post to tell him how much they would miss him.

‘Knicks going to regret trading you,’ one fan claimed while sharing Quickley’s stat line over the past few seasons.

‘We’re gonna miss you ma,’ a Knicks fan account added, while another posted: ‘I’ll miss you brotha. Deada** my only Knick jersey I’ve bought in the past 5 years.’

Meanwhile, others were just left in despair, with one writing: ‘I’m so heartbroken.’

The 2020 No. 25 pick is a restricted free agent at the end of the season and will be due a raise.

He is in the midst of a breakout campaign, posting an average of 18.2 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 2.4 assists across 26 games.

He was also named the runner up for Sixth Man of the Year last season.

Meanwhile, Barrett re-signed with the Knicks back in September of 2022, becoming the first Knicks player to agree to a multi-year extension after a rookie deal since Charlie Ward in 1999.

But now he heads back to his home town of Toronto to play for the Raptors – who were in need of consistency at the two-guard spot.

Barrett was the third leading scorer on the Knicks – averaging 18.2 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game.

Barrett and Quickley played the same position and their roles will likely be filled by Josh Hart and Quentin Grimes.

Meanwhile Anunoby gives the Knicks a true small forward – something they had been missing on their current roster.

The London-born Anunoby averaged 15.1 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game in Toronto.

As for the other two pieces going back to the Knicks, Achiuwa will go from fighting for minutes with Pascal Siakam to fighting for minutes with Julius Randle.

He averaged 7.7 points, 5.4 rebound, and 1.8 assists across 25 games and 17.5 minutes a night.

Meanwhile Flynn is a decent bench option – averaging 5.1 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game.
