The Chicago Bulls will be staging a special event in 2024, which may quash the rift between NBA legends Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen.

The Bulls will hold the inaugural Ring of Honor for the franchise on January 12, 2024, per an announcement on Tuesday, December 12.

For the 2024 class, 13 members have been invited to the event. That list includes Jordan, Pippen, Dennis Rodman, and former coach Phil Jackson. The event will also coincide with their home game against the Golden State Warriors, coached by another former Bulls champion team member, Steve Kerr.

Preceding the event will be a private gala that will be held at the United Center on January 11, NBC Sports Chicago reported.

Will Jordan, Pippen attend?
There is no question that Jordan and Pippen are well-known figures for the Bulls. The tandem produced six championships.

However, the Jordan-Pippen beef started when the docuseries “The Last Dance,” came out. Pippen did not appreciate how he was portrayed in the ESPN docuseries and has since gone on a tirade to blast His Airness on how things went during their prime.

The Ring of Honor Class of 2024 will be an exciting spectacle. However, it will also be interesting if Jordan and Pippen will attend. Better yet, will these two icons sincerely let bygones be bygones?

Aside from the names initially mentioned, other inductees to the Ring of Honor class include Jerry Sloan, Bob Love, Jerry Krause, Johnny “Red” Kerr, Chet Walker, Artis Gilmore, Toni Kukoc, Tex Winter, Dick Klein and the 1995-96 team per NBA.com.
