HIS SHOT NEVER RECOVERED”: COLD HEARTED MICHAEL JORDAN RUINED A MAN’S NBA CAREER WITH JUST HIS WORDS IN 1995

Michael Jordan is arguably the greatest in the game of basketball. His determination and dedication to the game made him one of the best players ever. He was one of the fiercest players on the court and also didn’t shy away from trash-talking his opponents. With his competitive mindset, he did not care whether his comments sounded rude or mean. Allegedly, this side of Jordan could be the reason behind the end of a promising career.

Muggsy Bogues was one of the shortest players in the history of the NBA. But his short stature didn’t stop him from being good on the court. He was a strong and quick on-ball defender. He was a nightmare for his opponents with the ball and loved to apply full-court pressure.

The incident took place in Chicago when the Chicago Bulls were playing against the Charlotte Hornets in the NBA playoffs of 1995. The Hornets were only down by a point and needed a quick basket. Muggsy Bogues had the ball at that time in his hand to save the Hornets. But he failed to deliver the shot in front of Michael Jordan, who was guarding him. This failed shot of Bogues ultimately resulted in a defeat to the Hornets.

As per reports, while defending Bogues, Jordan got under his skin by allowing him to shoot without contesting and with a comment. He allegedly said, “Shoot it, you f*****g midget!”.

Bogues reportedly told Johnny Bach, the former Bulls and Hornets assistant coach, “His shot never recovered.”

According to widespread rumors, Bogues’ career went downhill after this incident. He went on a decline and averaged only 5.9 points per game for the rest of his career. However, when Bogues was asked about it, he downplayed the incident saying trash-talking is a part of the game.
